Works Great
Snaps right on and stays in place. Would be great if the top of the fence had a little width to it so that the cats would step on it vs launching over it. This litter box in general loses a ton of litter but the fence does help.

Easy to keep clean!
This product in conjunction with the Meowant Litter box has changed my life. I hate cleaning up my cats’ poo but I love my cats. This piece in particular traps any litter from accidentally spilling out when my cats try to cover their mess. All the hassle has been taken out with this litter box. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this it prevents you from having a huge litter mess or from your cat being able to pee between the drum and base which can happen if this guard isn’t on there I learned that the hard way my oldest male cat didn’t have his butt all the way in the opening and his pee went between the drum and base all of it did and then I immediately ordered the guard and no longer an issue at all so just order this when you order the litter box you will need it

Keeps liquids and most litter in box
When I first got the Meowant automatic litter box, it was a learning curve for our 3 year old cat, the biggest issue is her butt would hang out when using the litter box and liquids would not make it all the way in the box, this totally fixed that issue. Some litter still comes out of the box but I would rather have that then liquids

I have large cats so this has helped them not urinate outside of the box by accident. It could be a little taller but it is working well and fits in tightly .
