Very nice bowl. Happy with the purchase.
The bowl is well made and heavy but good that our Golden Shepherd isn’t able to move it around. Has slowed her eating a lot which helps her gut issues. She seems more content after eating now. The 3 cup bowl is a bit too big since her homemade food is fed 3 times a day so I’m ordering the 1 1/2 cup bowl and will use the 3 cup bowl for her water. Cleans up really well and her food is warmed up in microwave so it’s safe to use there. So far, only washed in the sink so not sure how the dishwasher affects it.Update…..We now have one of each size. Absolutely LOVE these bowls. The 3 cup was too big so we use it for water. The next size down is perfect for food. Just got the smallest one delivered today because our dog gets regular food I cook for her as an early morning and evening snack. She’s intolerant to so many different foods. I noticed she eats way too fast on a plate so I ordered the small bowl. I’m sure it will slow her down like the medium size bowl did. So far, a lot of her gut issues have disappeared.

seems to make dinner fun and interesting while slowing down the process a bit. my little terrier tends to eat to fast. i think this is working!. So we got one for the husky as well and she was quite happy with it. Nice ceramic rose shape, beautiful color, sturdy and heavy enough to stay put. No lead in paint.

Perfect and Pretty
This dish is perfect. It definitely slows our pup down. It’s heavy, so doesn’t slide around. It goes in the microwave and the dishwasher. And it’s pretty, too!

Really works!
I have 2 dogs that love to gobble so I got 2 bowls and didn’t have super high expectations but I was/am pleasantly surprised. They are very heavy, which is helpful so they don’t slide around and they’re really pretty too. Both of my dogs have slowed their eating way down. I don’t feed more than half a cup of food at a time. I think it’s important to buy the size that matches how much you’re feeding.

Should have bought this years ago. Let me break down feeding the dog with the old stainless bowl.1. Dump food in bowl.2. Dog gulps food down in two bites.3. Food absorbs moisture and swells in dog’s stomach.4. Dog barfs food all over the floor. (Preferably hitting new carpet)This bowl forces the dog to slow down and digest the food (maybe even savor it).Won’t add pics of dog vomit… just take my word for it.
