Powerful, Easy to Use and Clean, Convenient to Store
We love this food processor. It’s powerful and easy to use. I researched several food processors before settling on this manufacturer and model. The Breville is a little more expensive than similar food processors but seems to process vegetables much better with regards to consistency and low waste. We appreciate how all attachments store in the bowl caddy and the whole thing fits neatly under our kitchen cabinet. We also appreciate the design of the wall plug which makes it easy to unplug from the wall outlet and enjoy the brushed steel finish and easy to clean attachments. Unlike most other food processors this machine has an easy to use, adjustable slicing attachment which can slice from paper thin or as thick as you want and anything in-between. My only caveat is I wish it had more versatility with regards to the size it can dice vegetables, still, 1/2 inch cubes seems to be appropriate for nearly all uses. The larger model does have variable dicing sizes in addition to all the attachments provided with this model but seemed more than we needed. The 9 cup bowl size has been more than sufficient for our household of two and should be just as sufficient households of 4 or 5 without dumping the bowl which only takes a few seconds anyway if you need more. Breville is a quality brand and we expect to get many years of service from this excellent food processor.

Amazing Food Processor — Worth Every Penny!
I absolutely love this food processor! The Olive color is gorgeous, and it looks great on my counter. It works superbly and handles everything I’ve thrown at it. The number of accessories is impressive, and the storage system keeps everything organized and easy to reach. It’s also super easy to clean, which is a huge bonus. It is a little pricey, but the quality and performance make it totally worth it.

Worth it? Maybe…
This is a great processor. I’ve bought cheaper ones over the years and basically used them once and eventually donated to GW. They all crushed, not chopped my food. They mangled pretty much everything. I gave up on food processors in general, went back to hand chopping, cutting. I saw a commercial for the Breville 16 cup and was intrigued. It’s just the 2 of us, so 16 was way too much. Especially at $700. I found this one during Prime Days, sorta discounted, still expensive but nice size.I must say, it does do a fantastic job! I’ve used it almost everyday since I received it. Is it perfect, absolutely not. Veggies still are not magazine photo quality, but for actual cooking, they are good enough for me. I’ve used almost every attachment and they all work fine. I do love that everything is all together, no searching drawers trying to remember where you stored the chopping blades safely so no one would get cut. The unit fits in my cupboard with no issues. It’s easy enough to clean, like any other processor.It’s still quite expensive, no getting around that. It does a better job than I expected. Is it worth it? For me, I would say yes. It’s an attractive unit, compact, all inclusive and powerful. Are there likely less expensive models that are compatible, probably. For me, this works and so far, I have no regrets.

It works great. What irritates me is taking apart all parts to know what I want/need to use. I’m putting them in my own covered container … I’m shape challenged. It cuts quickly and is very quiet. Nice.

IT REALLY IS STAINLESS, NOT PLASTIC! EXCELLENT QUALITY, ALL PIECES. GREAT DESIGN.
Opened the box, read the book, followed instructions, all positive.1. Book was not written in size .25 font, instructions and diagrams intelligent and clear.2. The parts are incredibly well made.3. The DESIGN is fabulous. I have purchased THREE (3) processors in the last month, to test and decide. Each one, individually, used two days, and immediately returned. I have been a Kitchenaid fanatic for years. Their processor got returned to Williams Sonoma in ONE day.4. THIS quality is what I was looking for. The versatility of the ‘adjustable blade’ added bonus. All of the various components made from a ‘macarta’-like material (foot ball helmets), excellent quality. Most of it can run through the dishwasher, if you don’t use the drying function. However, I use Cascade and 160degree water, so will refrain from dishwasher to preserve the plastics’ finishes.5. MANUFACTURER needs to deal with their photographer/advertiser. In some of the ‘still’ shots, looks like ‘stainless steel’ is dull, flat-finish plastic imitator. NOT! I decided to order it, and if it came plastic, ship it back. It’s ACTUALLY stainless steel. Shines beautifully. I hate all this ‘flat finish’ stuff, holds on to every dust speck and hand print. Give me high gloss every time. Adds some light to the kitchen.6. HEAVY WEIGHT. Not lightweight/cheap. All containers and tools are substantially molded/cast, no rough edges.7. WATCH OUT – BLADES ARE SHARP.8. Storage caddy an act of pure genius. Leave it to the Aussies to fix that annoyance, eh?I am now a Breville convert. LOVE THIS THING.Now I become a vegetable freak? So I can play with my new kitchen gadget? We’ll see about this.

This is a wow product. It’s so convenient for one thing with everything all packed together and color coordinated for use. That’s neat. But what I didn’t expect is the feed tube is practically automatic and so quick with beautiful neat cuts rather than smeared into the bowl like my kitchen aid was. Oh and the dicing blade! Chef’s kiss. Love this machine and wish I’d found it earlier!

My husband bought this for me as my old cuisinart that he bought for me 50 years ago, the bowl fell apart and could not be used. We already own 2 other Breville kitchen appliances and love them. When this machine was discounted, he bought it. This machine makes fast work of slicing, dicing, chopping veggies and fruit. We have a meat slicer but this machine was a magician on slicing rolls of salami. I love the convenience of the organizer that fits everything together within the machine. Easy to clean with soap and water, I do not put the bowl or accessories in the dishwasher as advised. Note: I do advise using a washing up brush to clean the slicing and dicing disks as they are very sharp! The manual that comes with the machine is pretty good at explaining how to use all the accessories that come with it. I highly recommend checking out the Breville Videos on youtube. So far, I am very happy with this purchase.
