A good monitor with very desirable manual inflation, a little tricky to use
I greatly prefer manual inflation, because it’s more comfortable. You only have to squeeze the bulb enough to get the pressure to at least 30mm higher than your expected systolic (higher number of the 2) pressure, and it works fine, and automatically from there. The auto-inflation monitors I got in the hospital felt like they were trying to rip my bicep off.This monitor’s sequence and timing of clearing residual air pressure and waiting until the right moment to start inflating is a little tricky and picky. Just follow the manual exactly and practice a few times, and it becomes easy. Provides good repeatable measurements, far as I can tell.I had a previous AND model (702), and it worked perfectly for 10 years. I only had to replace it with this one because the hose sprang a leak. So it seems to be a good durable brand.

Can’t get it to read blood pressure.
Finally got around to opening the box and using this. Wish I had tried it sooner so I could have returned it. Can’t get it to read BP a single time. It comes up with a number ( a single flashing number) can see the heart symbol flashing… then the number just slowly counts itself down to zero and the machine turns off. I am pumping the cuff until the delta symbol stops flashing and the machine is registering pressure and not touching anything after that. It counts down, turns off. NEver get a reading or a pulse measurement at all. Junk.

Simple yet complicated
This unit replaced my well liked LifeSource UA-702.I’ve used this device for roughly 2 weeks and have no confirmation of accuracy at this point.I find my unit displays the Deflate symbol for an extended period when first turned on, and won’t function until it clears.I haven’t determined the key to resolve this issue, including my attempts to squeeze any pressure from the cuff.Certainly different from my old one.This unit also stores BP readings in memory, but the only way to clear readings is by removing the battery – as described in the factory instructions.In the interest of privacy I would expect the memory to clear automatically when the unit is turned off, or manually through use of controls on the face.Battery removal seems like an afterthought to address an issue missed by the design guys.So far, this is a nice, simple, compact and inexpensive device, but certainly different from my first LifeSource product.As stated, accuracy unknown.

Most accurate and comfortable
Listen, there are Bluetooth and automatic devices out there – and I don’t need any of that. This is the best meter I got. You get a 30-measurement average, instant reading, and inflate at your own pace. Battery lasts forever since there are no motors chooching, and it’s the most comfortable out there. Top quality!EDIT: Over a year of use and I still haven’t changed the battery – I still count on this meter for all of my measurements. I’ve tried a few monitors and this is the most reliable and comfortable. As someone who gets bad anxiety at the doctor’s, I count on this meter for my best at-home measurements!

Not Easy to Use
. According to the instructions an average reading will appear followed by a zero. I do not get an average reading, just a zero. It was not easy to get a reading. I had to try multiple times. Eventually I did. I believe the reading was accurate.

Convenient, Accurate, Monitor, Good Value at a Reasonable Price
It is easy to put on, inflate and use. The readings obtained with it are accurate and consistent with other monitors I have used, over about 40 years. As to durability of the inflator bulb, time and usage will tell. Deterioration of this component is the most common mode of failure of these devices, in my experience. This one seems well constructed and more powerful than most I have used. The memory feature for readings is a nice addition, for establishing a normal range of readings for an individual. Overall, this unit is a very good value, for a reasonable price.
