I can’t make out the writing on the picture but this looks like the black beans I recently purchased. If that’s indeed what I am reviewing, I love this shelf friendly, soft canning method of preserving black beans! The carton container is so much better than the older tin can we have always had to buy. You are also only getting the black beans in a small amount of water and nothing else! This is great because the beans can be seasoned with whatever is preferred, as well as the amount. Easy to open and fresh tasting. I don’t have to soak dry beans overnight and cook all day in the crock pot to have a cup of beans for a recipe, or to make black beans and rice anymore. I just never liked the ones in a tin can, but these are just like I prepared them myself!

Sometimes the carton is a bit wonky from being packed with other heavy items. Still able to stack them well in pantry.A staple to have on hand, so they’re in the subscriptions for me!Quality/unsalted/organic and not overly pricey.
