Great performance
Excellent little work horse. Strong enough to shred rutabagas. Easy to place the bowl on and off. Stacks nicely to put it away. My daughter has had it for years and really liked it so after mine died and the new one I tried wasn’t up to the job, I ordered this and I love it!

Cheaper than buying replacements
Why pay the same price for a replacement bowl or other accessory when you can buy a new unit for less.This one works great and is easy to set up and clean & store.It’s lightweight and a great value.

Does the Job
You can tell it isn’t the highest quality but it does get the job done. I’ve used twice so far with no issues with the chopper blade or the shredder attachment. I like that you can store the parts inside the main bowl for ease of storage and I like that the cord wraps under the base of the processor. I’m glad I got the 8-cup cause it’s just the right size for my family of 3. I can imagine a mini food processor would be too small. The only two things I would change about this is 1) I wish there was some kind of locking mechanism for the feed chute cause when I move the top the processor with the chute still in it, it can inadvertently fall or go falling across the room. Just have to remember we to remove it before move by the main bowl I guess. Also, I wish the base wasn’t so big to make it more storable.

Reliable and easy to use – we replaced our old one with the same model by choice
This is our second of this very model. You might think, “Then why is he giving it a five-star review?” Well – the first one worked without a hitch until this neanderthal dropped the bowl on the hard tile and it broke. You can’t blame black & decker for that. This think has plenty of chopping power and has been shredding and mashing produce from our garden for years. We specifically looked for this model to replace the old one.
