1. Remove any cloth from your arm. 2. Put the arm through the cuff loop. 3. Check the bottom of the cuff which should be around one-half inch above elbow. 4. Turn the arm so palm is facing up. 5. Make sure the tube runs down the center of the arm.
If I prefer not to use batteries, what type of power adapter can I use?

E-3 – appears during the process of inflation. Please check if the cuff is wrapped properly (the tube should run down the center of the forearm’s front and the cuff wraps arm without any wrinkles), and also check the air plug is properly plugged in.

Updated Review – Excellent Customer Service!
I have an update!I am very happy to say that the customer service for this company is excellent, truly. As mentioned in my initial review below, it was my error to not open the product until months after receiving it. I thought I was out the money I spent, but… when I contacted customer service to see if they could help, I was very pleasantly surprised that Kevin, the man I was in contact with, was very friendly and happy to assist. I literally received a new monitor within a couple days, and it was NOT broken. I even checked it out at my doctor’s office and it took accurate readings comparable to their equipment. Unfortunately one problem that I had that was confirmed there is that the cuff is still not big enough for my “stupid” arm, even though I measured and thought it would work (yeah, I am very fat, so sue me).When Kevin reached out to see if I received the new monitor and how it was working, I told him the above and he said they would send a bigger cuff! I was pretty shocked. Hoping it will work.Long story short, I really appreciate the effort this company took to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I don’t think I’ve ever had this level of service before – so, big thank you to Kevin and company for taking such over the top care of me.Original review:This seems like a great product – love the carrying pouch and the unit is solid and easy to use, however when I opened it and started it up, the screen was broken (beneath the surface) so that any reading was inaccessible.Bad on me for waiting to try it! I am a nurse, and when I needed to get a BP cuff, I took it to work and ensured the cuff I purchased was very close to the calibrated blood pressure cuffs at the hospital. This cuff is very accurate. The numbers are large and easy to read; putting on the cuff is quite easy, and have it at the correct area on the arm to get the most accurate readings There is a red area on the binding around the cuff so that you know where it needs to be placed on the cuff so that it is in the inner elbow of the arm. It also describes that a two-finger can fit under the cuff to position it correctly when you put this cuff on.

Super easy to use. Two memory settings for keeping track of different readings. Hubby has big arms (he is a 2X) and the cuff fits him well with room to grow. I use the standard cuff and we don’t have any issues switching back and forth. I love the carry which houses everything.

I really like this monitor a lot. One of the things I like best about it is that it’s nice and small so it’s unlike my last monitor it’s very easy to bring with me every place I go. I also like the way the cuff fits. Unlike my last monitor this cuff is very easy to put on. It doesn’t hurt my arm the way the other monitor did. it appears accurate but I didn’t give it more than three stars because I won’t know how accurate it actually is until my next doctor appointment but judging from when I had my last blood pressure about a week ago it does appear to be accurate. The only reason for four stars instead of five stars is that the charging cord was not in the package. however it also runs on batteries so that hasn’t been a problem but I just don’t understand why it did not receive the plug-in charger as well. All in all it’s a great bargain and it looks very well made so I will give you an update maybe a year later.
