How do I choose the right THICKNESS/SIZE for my dog?

Is this slip leash safe for my dog?

Why does my leash slide not smoothly enough?
Please check if you form the loop shape looks like a “P” or a “9”. If you form a perfect “O,” it will not release properly. The “P” shape ensures it tightens and loosens smoothly.

This leash is very easy to use. The slip lead is comfortable for both the dog and human. The leash is well made and very durable. The reflective cording is a welcomed feature especially for night walks. The orange color is vibrant and the leash length is perfect. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

Good thickness and length for a medium dog. Very comfortable for me to hold on to. Easy to put on and take off. The leather stops slides and does not stay in place however, wish I would have paid more for something that stays in place. If you don’t care for the slide stop, great value for the money.
