I bought this to replace my existing fridge water filter that was getting clogged (I have a Frigidaire Model LFUS2613LF3). I wasn’t getting ice in the ice maker. The ice was coming out brittle and hollow. I looked up the cause online and one of the fixes was to replace the water filter. It filters great now, the old one lasted for years, I know I should have changed it out sooner but it was working so I didn’t. Super easy to replace. Just push in the old filter to unlock and pull it out, then push in the new filter to lock it in. Doesn’t leak, it’s a genuine great quality Frigidaire water filter.

It fits and works well. But it doesn’t last very long!
My father in law purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator and after about a year the water pressure out of the water dispenser dropped off. He found out from the store that he purchased it from that is was probably the water filter. He never knew he had a water filter.We purchased this ULTRAWF water filter as it was the part number given to him by the manufacturer of his refrigerator. I got it and drove over to his home to install it and you guessed it, it was the wrong one. He needed a Frigidaire model WF3CB.Fortunately the ULTRAWF fit in the refrigerator and worked fine. It was easy to install. Just make sure that you run about 1 ½ gallons of water out of the dispenser to condition and prepare the filter. The first few glasses of water looked murky. Just as a side note, the WF3CB will not replace the ULTRAWF as it has an additional fin on the side of the filterThe filter we received was a genuine Frigidaire filter and it was also less expensive than at the appliance parts store. It was also delivered in one day which was free using Prime.My only complaints are that the filter is expensive and it is only supposed to last 6 months or 200 gallons of water. It seems expensive just to filter water for ice cubes and drinking water.I rated it 4 stars.Just a comment, my existing refrigerator is 26 years old and the cost of this buying filter over that time frame exceeds the cost of buying a new refrigerator.This new filter is still working fine and my father in law is happy so far with the purchase. Let’s hope it last long enough to make him happy.I do want to point out that installing this filter just took seconds. It is critical to make sure that you purchase the right filter as many of them have fins on them that will not allow them to be installed.I absolutely had no issues with the filter I purchased and it is still working fine and it came in a Frigidaire box.

These are legit and less expensive than direct from Frigidaire. Make sure when you replace the old one to push it in first and it will pop out – don’t forget to watch for the way it is positioned…it will help you when you go to put the new one in. For highest water quality, follow the instructions to run water through for several minutes or at least as many gallons as they recommend to get best water quality in the first few uses. The dispenser will sputter in running water through new one so be prepared with a towel.
