Designed to be uniquely simple, The Hamilton Beach stack & snap 12 cup food processor requires no twisting, turning or locking during assembly. Instead, it’s as easy as stacking the 12 cup bowl onto the base, then snapping on the lid. Easy to use – Disc attachments are reversible and labeled, which takes the guesswork out of processing. The label should face up for the desired function. When using disc attachment, do not process foods past the max level indicator on the bowl. FOOD MAXIMUM AMOUNTTO PROCESS Dry ingredients such as crackers or nuts 12 cups (2.8 L) Vegetables or fruits 3 pounds (1.4 kg) Cheese such as Parmesan or Cheddar 40 ounces (1.2 L) Thick sauces or dips 8 cups (1.9 L) Liquids such as marinades or soups 7 cups (1.7 L).
Troubleshooting: (1) Unit does not operate on any speed or Pulse – Is the unit plugged in? Does the outlet work? Is the lid latched in place? See “How to Use” sections. Place lid on bowl, making sure to align the pour spout on the lid with the pour spout on the bowl. Is the large food pusher in the chute? The large food pusher must be in place to operate. Is the food chute overfilled? Do not add food above the MAX fill line. The large food pusher must be in the food chute to operate. (2) Food is not sliced or shredded uniformly – Packing too much food in the food chute or pushing too hard on the food pusher may cause the processed food to be irregularly sliced or shredded. Refer to the Food Processing Charts for recommended sizes and quantities. (3) Unit has a burning smell – There may be a residue left on the motor from the manufacturing process, causing a slight odor during initial use. This will go away. If a strong odor or any visible smoke appears, unplug unit IMMEDIATELY and call the Customer Service number. More info regarding troubleshoot available on the user manual.
STACK AND SNAP TECHNOLOGY FOR EASY ASSEMBLY: With this well-designed food processor, you can skip frustrating, awkward assembly. Stack & Snap technology provides easy assembly and removes the need for difficult twist-locking.
12 CUP SEALED BOWL: Most food processors are too small for large processing jobs. This 12 cup sealed bowl fits large volumes of food all at once, and since it’s sealed in the center, there’s no messy leaks or spills to clean up after processing.
BIG MOUTH CHUTE: Fit a whole potato or tomato right into the chute. The Big Mouth chute of this Hamilton Beach food processor saves prep time by reducing the need to pre-cut food before processing.
SLICE, SHRED, CHOP, MIX AND PUREE WITH 2 VERSATILE ATTACHMENTS: This large food processor and vegetable chopper includes a chopping/pureeing blade and reversible stainless steel slicing/shredding disc so you can tackle every job with ease.
QUICKLY POWERS THROUGH TOUGH INGREDIENTS WITH 450 WATT MOTOR: Shred cheese and potatoes, slice cucumbers and tomatoes, chop onions and herbs. As you process, the suction cup feet prevent sliding for greater stability on the countertop.
EASY TO CLEAN: All removable parts are dishwasher safe for effortless cleanup and all food zones are BPA-free for peace of mind

Process THIS great product!
I cannot find any cons to this food processor. It slams right through the hazelnuts I roast myself and use in making homemade keto sugar-free “nutella” chocolate hazelnut spread. It is easy to put together. The buttons are self explanatory. The machine is designed for safety and efficiency. It will not work if you forget to install one of the safety components. But after you figure out what you left off, and put it in its place, you will be happy with this food processor. I have not yet tried the shredding blade but the S blade certainly works well. The motor is able to power through the hardest nuts I was able to find; made a pumpkin pie filling in seconds; pie crust is a BREEZE! Just be sure the container is dry when you add your flour to it.I have no issues with the noise of the motor. It IS a motor! Would you sacrifice efficiency for a quiet chainsaw? I think not. And I’m not saying it sounds like a chainsaw. Just think about who’s trying to take a nap before you turn this baby on. It’s a workhorse, so don’t tell it to be quiet.

Excellent processor for chopping, mixing and pureeing.
I absolutely love my new food processor. The stack and snap feature is so easy and it chops my veggies perfectly for when I make soup and purées just as well. The only thing is that the plastic containers used for mixing is very light and seems to be made cheap. I am very cautious not to accidentally bang it or drop it or I know it will be done!

Arrived today and using it already!
I just recieved this morning. I washed it and put it to use. My last food processor I bought in the early 90’s by another manufacturer. It was great but not as economical as this one. I have a crock pot and a 40 year old toaster oven (I just donated it because I recieved a new one as a gift) by Hamilton Beach that I have had for many years and it works perfectly. No bells and whistles but a work horse. I chopped my first onion so far so good. Food prep will be much easier now. I have been without for months then decided to order this. Im glad I did. I will update after a few months of use. I specifically like snap on feature.

Good solid unit with a stumpy cable
This unit seems to work really well. Between my wife and I we’ve used it about 7-8 times since purchasing and it’s been pretty good.I have churned almonds into flour and use it to mix up bread batter, she used it to turn dates into paste for protein balls, bread into crumbs etc. I usually use it to make cauliflower rice and it chops it up nicely, my only gripe is that you can’t overfill it and the cauliflower has to be chopped to smaller pieces before processing. If they are too big the bits just bounce around the top and don’t chop up. In reality you can only fill it about half way to do this, the ‘Max’ fill line is right at the top of the container, this isn’t realistic. To give you an idea, I chopped up 2 cauliflowers the other night and I think it took 5 sets of portions in the processor to get it all chopped up as I could only fill it half-way. Still a good unit though for the price point..I took off one star because it has a short power cable. The power cable is 2ft long, all of my other appliances are 3-3.5ft in length. Being 2ft in length I had to go and chase down an extension cable to get it running. Not the end of the world but it’s a bit inconvenient compared to my other appliances which all reach the outlet just fine. If you have an outlet in the right location it will be fine but my outlet is just out of reach for this puppy.

Happy as a dog with a new bone!
I know this food processor has gotten some bad reviews, but I tend to look at the combined total of 4 (15%) + 5 (64%) star rating and that give it 79%. I consider that to be quite good for a rating on Amazon. Then, I looked at the fact the ratings don’t seem to be about anything other than the product it should be about. Lately, reviews for different products seem to be showing up where they don’t belong, which distorts a product’s true ratings. With the reviews just on Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Stack and Snap Food Processor (70725A) and an overall 79% 4 + 5 star rating, I then compared it to other food processors and their reviews. After what seemed like an interminable amount of analysis and sorting through reviews, I selected the Hamilton Beach 12 Cup Food Processor (70725A).I had been using my tiny Cuisanart to do at best 3/4 to 1 cup at a time to puree cooked rice with beef bone broth every 3 or 4 days for the dogs. Pembroke Welsh Corgis for those who want to know. This was really frustrating me since I have to have 1 cup of the mixture per day for the dogs to add to their food. So, enter my having to be out of town for almost 2 weeks and I set out to mix up 2 weeks worth of cooked rice and beef bone broth to leave for my husband to feed the dogs while I would be away. plus an extra day so I would not immediately need to mix up more upon my return. That process with my “miniature” Cuisanart sent my frustration level went through the roof. I was determined to not have to go through that again, thus ordered this Hamilton Beach food processor!Imagine my delight when I as soon as I returned home I realized I apparently had not made up enough for day of “travel recovery” before making more doggie rice/broth mixture. I’m still not convinced my husband did not use more than necessary, but that’s beside the point and I turned to open the Amazon box containing my Hamilton Beach food processor which had arrived while I was gone.I decided to cook up the whole bag of short grain brown rice at once and give the new food processor a try. 5 cups of rice + 10 cups of water = a lot of rice. I divided it into 3 portions figuring rice is sticky, it would probably get stuck to the side of the processor and I wasn’t using a whole lot of broth to combat that. With the first portion of rice in the processor I added about 3/4 cups of beef bone broth, pressed puree, and quickly shut it off! The processor is rather load and made the doggies bark and bark and bark! I stopped the food processor, they stopped barking. I started it again, they started again. I shut the food processor off and put the dogs outside! Problem solved! Within about 5 minuetes, I finished 8 days worth at 1 cup per day of rice/broth mixture. Happy dance! Literally, I did a happy dance!By the way, dogs also digest the pureed rice better than leaving the pieces whole. Just so ya know.Upon returning home, I also had to look forward to processing 5 large and I mean large pumpkins. Also for the doggies! My adult daughter has also been sick, so I offered to process her pumpkins as well – also a lot of large pumpkins! So, the Hamilton Beach has been working almost relentlessly since October 27th. Enough so, that my hands are very dry from constant washing of them, all the equipment, and the kitchen counter, sink, and stove. So, I’ve processed:3 batches of rice/broth puree good for 8 days each for the dogs.98 quarts of pureed pumpkin (55 quarts for our dogs, the balance for my daughter’s dog and family)16 – 1/2 pint jars for adding to homemade spiced chai (my reward when I get to actually sit down)I’m ready to say the Hamilton Beach 12 Cup Food Processor rocks! I’m my opinion.I’ve washed it umpteen times without any of the problems or concerns I’ve seen others state. Maybe I’m being extra diligent because of what and where others have stated they’ve had food get stuck and either can’t get it out or do with great difficulty. I have some small brushes in a jar by the sink for cleaning hummingbird feeders which do the trick quite nicely and easily. The enclosed part on the lid and bowl that create the easy stack and snap feature of this food processor is one area some reviewers have complained about either food or moisture getting into and not being able to get it out or having a lot of difficulty getting it out.Well, I’m not the neatest person as I’m forging through processing our doggies’ rice/broth mixture or processing at least 275 pound of pumpkins. I doubt I’m over estimating on the pumpkins. 98 quart jars and 16 – 1/2 pint jars took 204 pounds of pumpkins and I hauled a lot of 5 gallon buckets half full of pumpkin skin, seeds, and guts outside! Between removing the processor lid to pour the pureed pumpkin into the double boiler to keep it hot for canning it, adding mushy, cooked pumpkin into the small hole the black “large food pusher” creates in the “food chute” for hours on end and I had pumpkin pretty much everywhere on the processor bowl, lid, and large black food pusher. I was able to keep the base quite clean despite the plops of pumpkin on the counter – yay!Despite my mess, the bowl and lid cleaned up easily. Yes, water got into the enclosed parts that create the processor’s stack and snap feature, but it dried, overnight as a matter of fact. I don’t quite understand others complaints that moisture gets in there and never dries. All I can say is that moisture does get in there, but it dried each and every time in mine.I found the key to cleaning the lid and bowl is to not let them sit to allow for any food dry on them. The inside of the bowl can be filled with water to soak if necessary. I was reluctant at first to submerge it in the sink because of some of the reviews, but even doing that any trapped moisture dried. I use the “hummingbird cleaning brush” on part of the “nonremovable motor shaft” in the bowl to make sure all food residue was removed. The “chopping/mixing blade” is another part other reviewers have complained about. I soak it in hot soapy water and scrub! Sponge, “hummingbird cleaning brush,” dish bristle brush, rinse, repeat until I’m confident I’ve gotten all the food from between the plastic and blades. So, far with lots of use, cleaning, and drying I have not noticed any odors or anything of concern. The black “large food pusher” is a bit tough to clean. But, I found soaking it helped to loosen any pumpkin that was stuck inside and then reaching in with a knife and flushing it under running water I could get the pumpkin out.I’m happy as a dog with a new bone with my purchase of the Hamilton Beach 12-Cup Stack and Snap Food Processor (70725A). Our dogs also seem very happy with the rice/broth mix and pumpkins from this processor! It’s Corgi approved as well by their owner!

Finally replaced a very old one that was too bulky. This one has a smaller base size fits in my cabinet nice. It has all I need as far as varieties of cuts and uses. easier to open and close and use. I would recommend to anyone. Great Value for the price.

Quieter than my blender, more efficient, faster and easier to use as well. Does a beautiful job shredding, slicing and especially fine chopping. Couldn’t be happier with it.
