A healthful snack for busy people
My husband is frequently hungry and also eats when he is working….Kind Bars Dark Chocolate are the perfect snack for him when he is moving around the house, thinking about writing a lecture or designing a product. The chocolate is very tasty and there are just enough nuts to keep hunger at bay. He is able to drop a bar in his pocket to consume later as the size is convenient for this. These bars are not cheap, but very high quality is worth the small extra price paid. Highly recommend.

Delicious Dark Chocolate Almond KIND Bars, but a Few Arrived Melted
I purchased these Dark Chocolate Almond KIND Bars as a go-to snack and absolutely love their rich flavor, though a few arrived melted. I enjoyed them over a week during work breaks, and the decadent dark chocolate coating paired with crunchy almonds and 5g of protein makes for a satisfying, indulgent treat. I was able to salvage the slightly melted bars by refrigerating them, restoring their texture without losing flavor. However, a few bars were melted upon delivery, likely due to warm shipping, which made them sticky and less appealing to open. Compared to other KIND Bars I’ve tried, the dark chocolate almond flavor is a standout, but the melting issue was a minor hassle. As someone who loves vibrant, healthy snacks (inspired by my passion for colorful and organized lifestyles), I appreciated the resealable wrapper, not highlighted in the listing, which kept the salvaged bars fresh. I’d recommend these for their taste, but order in cooler weather to avoid melting.

What a mess!
These are not the same quality as the Kind bars in grocery stores. They taste fine but they have either been frozen or melted because the chocolate doesn’t stick to the bar. No matter how careful I am, I end up with crumbs of chocolate all over my lap, my car, my chair and much of the chocolate is still on the wrapper. What a mess. They’re in a different color packaging than the store ones which confirms there is something different about them.

Ok taste, quality control issue with Amazon distributor, shop around for price
The taste of this bar isn’t nearly as good as other Kind bars with chocolate (try the Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew instead…it does have more sugar though). I opted not to purchased this flavor again after my first box.Also, whoever does the Amazon distribution for Kind bars has a quality control issue. I’ve purchased Kind bars from Kind’s website and from local retailers (such as Walmart, Sam’s Club and Office Depot). The bars from local retailers have always been the same size and thickness. Last summer (2013), I signed up for subscribe and save with 5 different kinds of Kind bars. This means that I was auto shipped 5 boxes of Kind bars every 1, 2 or 3 months depending on my preferences. This was quite a commitment because in order to get the discount, I had to order 5 different products. After receiving 4 shipments, I cancelled all of my subscribe and save orders. The taste of the bars was still fantastic but with each shipment, my bars got shorter and thinner. My final shipment of Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew was so thin that there was barely any nuts on top of the chocolate layer. It was really weird.I contacted Kind customer service through their website and they wanted me to send them the batch code from the boxes. It was too late, I had already thrown the boxes away and eaten most of the bars (because I still loved the bars and they were a staple in my daily diet at the time and I wanted to eat them). Therefore, I never found out what the issue was and why I had such a problem with the quality of the bars.I am very disappointed because you cannot beat the Amazon price of these bars. It is fantastic. On the Kind website you have to order in a huge quantity to get a discount, so it’s not practical unless you have $100 laying around at one time for granola bars.They are nearly $2/bar at most local stores as well. The best price I’ve seen is Sam’s Club…which only has a multipack of 18 bars (Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew and Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate). I have purchased the pack twice at about $17 because I love the cherry cashew so much…but I hate the peanut butter bar (absolutely no peanut butter flavor)…so I make my husband eat those! Check the vitamin/supplement areas in Sam’s to find the bars!

Very tasty and lower in carbs than others.
I buy these for my husband when we are dieting. If you love dark chocolate and nuts, these are for you. They are a bit pricey, I think, but they are good quality and lower in carbs than other breakfast bars.

Great Trail Bars, Great Price
I’ve been a fan of Kind bars for close to a decade. As with everything lately, prices are high & we’re all looking for ways to save. Amazon has kept the price on these lower than local retail stores. (I’m looking at you W•M) When I saw an added price drop here, I ordered these. They come out to less than $1 each.Expiration date is 2026 & they are fresh with no sticky residue inside the wrapper. I’m putting these away in my pantry as part of my emergency stash of non-perishables. Great to grab & throw in your bag for a mid-day snack or have on hand if you’re having a severe weather event and lose power for a bit.Highly recommend. Will continue to buy as long as price stays where it is.

Kind Bar’s are a staple in my office drawer since finding them last year. I am rotating round flavors to decide which i like the most. The Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt Bar’s main attraction is the high nut content. This leads 7g of fiber and 6g of protein in a 40g bar; and a lowish 5g of sugars. The bars are clearly almondy with a dark chocolate base. They are as a result of the nuts the texture is very crunchy (it may test your teeth crunch.) The taste is far more savory than a sweeter bar like apple and cinnamon bars which at 10g have twice the sugar. The nuts and the slight bitterness of the chocolate are nice; and the effect of the smaller seeds give a variety of taste and texture in the mouth as you chew. The salt is really though and if you dislike the taste of salt these may not be for you.

Schon lange habe ich keinen so leckeren und sättigenden Riegel mehr gegessen, einfach großartig. Habe die KIND-Bars zufällig mal bei REWE entdeckt, wo sie leider nur ein paar Tage in der Aktion waren. Schön, dass ich hier jetzt immer für Nachschub sorgen kann. Der Preis ist für einen Riegel zwar relativ hoch, aber durch die “unkritischen” Zutaten sind die Riegel ihr Geld wirklich wert. Ein Traum wäre natürlich, wenn die Firma es schaffen würde, den Zucker weiter zu minimieren und durch Reissirup oder ähnliches zu ersetzen.
