Great for my daughter & me!
OMG. I bought this for my daughter and ended up eating half the box myself. These are addictive! My 9yr old has been taking one to school every day and she asks for another for her after school snack. I need to try the other flavors, but this brownie is so delicious.

Excellent, High Quality, Low Sugar Snack
I really like these protein bars. I need to have a high-protein diet for medical reasons. I am also quite sensitive to certain foods, including high amounts of sugar. I have to avoid sugar substitutes (especially sugar alcohols) at all costs. Admittedly, I have been getting the regular Trubars for a while now. When I saw they had a kids’ version, I had to give it a shot. It still has protein and fiber without any of the sweeteners or other ingredients that bother my stomach. These do have some sugar added (4 grams), which is low enough for me to tolerate with no issue. The ingredients, protein levels, and sugar levels all met my dietary needs, and I feel okay letting my children have these as well. I decided to give them a try.Just like the regular Trubars, I really like these! To set the proper expectations, we are talking about something with low sugar content that avoids artificial sweeteners, so it won’t taste like candy. That said, I have been pretty impressed by how much flavor they managed to get into these. The chocolate flavor is quite good. I also let my kids taste them. One said it was good. The other said it was fine. From my children, this is a ringing endorsement of any food! These bars have been great for me if I’m looking for a quick breakfast or a slightly sweet snack. The protein and fiber help me to feel full for a while. The value seems in line with the high level of quality of the product. I have already ordered more of these for myself. The fact that my kids can have them is just a bonus. I will absolutely continue to purchase these to have as a regular part of my diet.I recommend these to anyone who wants some extra protein and fiber from something with high-quality ingredients. Grown-ups and kids can enjoy these.

Okay not my kids favorite but good ingredients
Half my kids liked the flavor the other half did not prefer this. We usually do the adult truebars. Adult trubars that is our favorite so we decided to try this. I like the clean ingredients but the flavor wasn’t as good as the full size choice.

Great taste and texture
On the days I go into the office a protein bar is my convenient choice for breakfast at my desk. I like the Aloha fudge, but wondered what else is out there. This is a kid portion so have to add a protein drink, but it is a very tasty chocolate item says the proud chocoholic. I wish this was in the adult size bar. It is slightly pricy, so I will supplement it as a treat been other less expensive plant protein bars.

Wouldn’t risk it. Processed with milk, peanut soy fish, wheat, sesame tree nuts.
Says it’s School safe no peanuts no tree nuts. The lower on the box underneath ingredients it says manufactured in a facility that also processes peanuts milk, soy fish, wheat, sesame, and peanut nuts.As a peanut allergy parent I will not risk giving my child this product. I appreciate the processed in a facility statement. But bummed I feel like this isn’t safe enough for my child.

Toddler ASD approved
My autistic 3.5 year old will actually eat these, so they’re a win in my book.

on the go small size, but very dense
This three pack of snack bars is much smaller than I anticipated. There was a very tiny box in which there were three smaller boxes of bars. When you open the box of bars, you can see that the bars are not even as tall as the box. The bars themselves are incredibly tiny. So when you consider the size and price, it is not a very good value. However, the nutrition is very impressive! 8g of protein is amazing! The sugar is not bad and the sodium is low! Six grams of fat is a bit much, but when you consider that this is free of so many allergens and nuts, it definitely is a school friendly treat. I also appreciate the clearly printed expiration date which is a year out. The confetti flavor has some cute colorful coloring on the front. The consistency of the bar is thick, chewy and chalky. You really have to chew for a long time. When you consider the density, perhaps you want such a small bar. These remind me of heavy duty protein bars for adults. I really don’t imagine children liking the consistency of this bar. The size is convenient for taking on the go. So there’s a lot of pluses and a lot of minuses.
