Very good at catching fleas
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great product to add to your Arsenal if you’re trying to rid your house of fleas and break the life cycle of the fleas. In order to effectively get rid of fleas infesting a home you have to attack all stages of the life cycle of the fleas for a minimum of two weeks which I will explain why in a moment. So with fleas you have four stages that you have to kill them at. You have the egg stage, you have the larvae stage, you have the pupae stage, and lastly you have the adult flea stage (this is the stage where they bite and you see them jumping around). In order to effectively get rid of them like I said before you have to kill them at all of these stages or get rid of them at all of these stages. Your best bet and what I found to be most effective is to 1) get rid of the source of the fleas, so if your pet is bringing in fleas you have to get them treated I use a flea collar for this. 2) next you have to get rid of the fleas that burrow into carpets, rugs, fabrics, couches, etc. some sort of reliable flea spray/pesticide that lists all of the stages it attacks is best for this, just make sure it’s safe for in home use especially if you have children and pets. I use Adams home flea pesticide for this which kills fleas at the egg, larvae, and adult flea stage effectively (after following the package instructions you will notice a huge dip in flea activity and bites) it also guarantees continuous protection and killing of these stages for up to 7 months after application. If you notice one of those stages was left out though and that is the pupae stage. That’s because in this stage the flea goes from a larva into a cocoon (pupae) and that cocoon is very resilient and protects the forming adult flea. Most pesticides are unable to effectively kill fleas in this stage because of how resilient this cocoon is which is why it’s recommended to vacuum and empty the vacuum in the trash outside at least every other day because vacuuming can suck up this cocoon as well as eggs and larvae. Some pupae however will be missed and when they hatch they hatch into adult fleas which then bite again. This cycle takes about 2 weeks to happen from egg laying to adult flea and 1 adult flea can lay up to 1000 eggs per day. which is why you have to be active in vacuuming up these pupae for a minimum of two weeks but recommended about four to six weeks if you want to almost guarantee ridding your house of the flea infestation. Any missed pupae that end up hatching hatch into more adults that then can lay another 1,000 eggs. As you can see if you don’t stay on top of this this can cause your infestation to return. In comes adding this flea trap which attracts adult fleas and traps them in the sticky pad which then prevents them from being able to reproduce and lay more eggs further diminishing the potential population of fleas in your home. Flea spray + treating the source (your pet) + vacuuming relentlessly + a flea trap to trap the emerging adult fleas = getting rid of your flea infestation. This trap is a great addition to your Arsenal to get rid of fleas because it really works in attracting the adult fleas. I have used this flea trap for under my desk as I’m sitting at it and the fleas instead of coming to bite my feet go straight for the trap because of the heat emitted from the light bulb. I’m still actively getting rid of the fleas but they are almost completely eradicated now.

Works within minutes
I am amazed with how great this product worked.I brought my cat home from a cat hotel and didnt realize he had fleas. At that point he had already been in my bedroom where I noticed a flea on my bed frame. I bought this flea trap with hopes of capturing all fleas within my room and boy did this product deliver. Within minutes of using, It caught several fleas! The extra sticky pads that it comes with was a great addition so you can swap them out if needed. There was no odor with this product and it was super easy to assemble! I ended up buying another order and placing these throughout my house just in case. Its been about 2-3 weeks and the trap remains plugged in. I have yet to need to change out the lightbulb.If you have a flea problem in your house, I highly recommend purchasing this product!

Works-But not a complete solution
I bought these flea traps hoping to get a handle on a sudden flea issue, and I will say—they definitely work! I was surprised to see how many fleas were caught in just a day or two. It’s oddly satisfying to check and see that it’s doing something. So in that sense, it’s definitely worth the money.

Best flea treatment around
These flea traps are awesome. I put them together easily, placed down on my floor, plugged them in and left them overnight. Next morning the trap had about 20 tiny little fleas scattered on the sticky pad. The morning after it had several larger fleas stuck along with a few flying insects. My dogs are scratching much less after a week. I love that we are not using any harsh chemicals to rid our home of fleas. This works beautifully. I have one in my living room / kitchen area and one underneath my bed in our bedroom (where the dogs sleep). I love these I may get another one to place in my basement soon. Perfect inexpensive and non toxic way to control pests in the house.

Simple set up. Works well!
Works! Had a couple stray cats show up and one got in the house. Pulled out the traps in an abundance of cation. Caught one and a few other bugs. Easy to assemble.

Need longer lasting lightbulbs
Worked pretty decently, i tried to keep them in areas close to my dog and her favorite areas. No smell thats a plus! I would say after a few hours of assembling there were already a good amount of fleas and other insects caught and within just a few days we needed to change the trap. The only issue I had was the light dies out fast
