I’d recommend, product is exactly what they say it is
I ordered this for my female 45-55 pound husky. She destroys everything and eats her food in seconds, so I was just testing it out on her. Day one took 20 minutes to figure out how to eat her food. Since then she’s still eating fast but it’s slowed it down enough to where she’s not hacking up dog food. Easy to clean, the suction to keep the slow feeder in works great but if you feed with water or added wet food, the under part can get gross and I learned that if I’m going to add water to their food, to do it in a different bowl and then transfer it so the bottom doesn’t just hold a little puddle of water under the slow feeder. Bowl itself is heavy, the insert is sturdy enough that I don’t worry about her chewing it up as she’s trying to eat. I think if I ordered again I’d actually get the smaller design.I also ordered one for my male husky. He is not destructive and I’ve never had any issues with him ruining his things (my female destroys indestructible beds and such). He did get frustrated with it though, tip the bowl, and when I wasn’t watching ate the suction part to the slow feeder and chewed the top. Not the products fault by any means, he’s 65+ pounds and I left the bowl on the floor for too long after he finished.I got the smaller version for my little dog, but he has a harder time with the shorter snout and how deep the slow feeder is. I actually removed it from his and only intend to use it for special days when I add extra to their food.I love the bowls, they’re wonderful. I got pink and blue in the larger sizes and the green in the smaller size.

Great sturdy dog bowl for fast eaters
As another reviewer mentioned the insert is to be expected to have wet food and or water get under the “maze” of the suction cup feeder insert which would be unsanitary in my opinion and be prepared to add to cleaning after dinners/meal times. Probably great for kibble / dry food. Wet food and water in food – need to clean in detail after and take the contraption out. If you’re short on time, it might frustrate a person. I like the weight of the bowl and no -slip bottom and bowl stayed put. Dogs took to it right away and like a game. I found an elevated stand though so the neck didn’t have issues. I’d buy again but probably a fully integrated maze snow feeder bowl instead of the insert kind.

Durable dish
It works great. I got the metal dish cause my other dog chewed up the other. The only thing the slower feeder is a little hard to get out.

Size is great for my large dog. Love that the insert helps pace her eating cause she acts like she’s in an eating contest 24/7. And I love I can take it out, but probably won’t because I don’t see her slowing down anytime soon lol.

Didn’t work for us
The bowl itself is great quality but the insert doesn’t stay in. Our dog manages to get insert out and this defeats the purpose. Would love if it had a metalInsert that wasn’t removable

The small was too big for my chiwennies
I have small dogs, Chiwennies, and their small bowl was for the medium to large dog. The bowl was to big for my dogs. I think the design is cute, and the center would be useful to help slow down the eating.

Doggo approved!
Love love love this bowl!! My puppy eats way too fast and this slows her down a lot! I love that the slow feeder is able to be taken out for when she outgrows this phase and can go back to using a normal bowl! The suction is strong and my puppy can’t pull it out. Love the functionality and it’s super easy to clean! It’s made very well and I plan to buy another for my other dog!
