Lids were useless
Very disappointed. Bought it for a party to hold salad but end up not being able to use it because the most of the lids were bent and stuck together. The lids wouldn’t close seal with trying to put it onto the bowl

I really like the size and look. But it’s not for hot foods like soups. Which what I got them for. Not for greasee foods either. They absorb liquids and grease.

Love these
I love these bowls. The bowls are round but have an edged bottom for great grip. They are big enough to hold great salads but small enough to fit my lunch bag. They can be used for cold or hot items. These bowls are microwavable and are a good buy. The lids are a tight fit but have a small steam release hole. These bowls are thick, durable, and leak proof. I have filled them with chilli and vegetable soup; placed them in the refrigerator overnight and had no issues. There is also a larger size!

Hot soup
Good sized bowls for a variety of uses. Big enough for a generous salad and will easily hold a can of soup. I was pleased that I could pour in the soup steaming from the pan and the bowl did not leak. It held up nicely. My only objection is that with some foods it isn’t ideal to have a hard crease around the bottom rather than a sloping side, but that’s not a big issue with most things. I bought two other types of disposable bowls at the same time, Dixie and a version that is plastic but microwave safe. This bowl did better with the hot items, and heavy ones. Although the others didn’t leak, they threatened to bend enough to spill the contents. This bowl is just sturdier.

Good for dry goods, bad for wet
These are really nice sized containers, I like that they’re (mostly) cardboard and not plastic or especially styrofoam. The biggest downside to these is that they don’t handle wet foods very well. The wax coating on the inside isn’t thick and/or durable enough to remain effective through reheating. That means that during use, they start to leak, which isn’t great.Wouldn’t recommend, unfortunately.
