Great monitor!
This monitor is nearly identical to one I have had for 15 years down to the partially formed cuff. Yes, I’m aware it should have been replaced before now, but it still worked well until recently. When I saw this particular one, I did a search to find out which company bought out the one I had before, and surprise! No wonder it’s almost identical. 🙂 I am thrilled this product was almost entirely unchanged because of being severely visually impaired. The one thing I did notice is that straight out of the box, it talked which was great. No setup. No working eyes needed. I’ve never seen another monitor anywhere with a preformed cuff. I personally love that feature because I have to take my BP on my left arm. I am left-handed which makes putting a regular cuff on a bit difficult. The cuff has to be a bit stiff to stay in position, so that much is to be expected. At the doctor and when I’m hospitalized, they always take my BP in the forearm because for some reason they cannot get good readings on my upper arm. The cuff that comes with this by default works even there and is as accurate as theirs are.

Cuff needs redesign
I run this monitor and a much cheaper one side by side each day. They both are very close to each other on the measure so that is how I prove accuracy. And it is very close to what the doctors office measures. I don’t love the cuff… it has a hard curved starting edge that you initially lay on your bicep to begin the wrap. That hard curved edge never really sits flat on the arm. It’s supposed to be a feature for a proper fit but I think it’s to stiff and the curve to small for anyone’s arm. Whenever I get a crazy reading I readjust the cuff and press that curved edge as flat as I can and then the reading is normal.

Excellent Talking Blood Pressure monitor!
This is an excellent product and I highly recommend it! I like the blood pressure cuff because it is pre-formed and easy to position on the arm. The The blood pressure monitor speaks the readings and I like that since I am totally blind. It also includes 4 double a batteries and an instruction manual which you don’t see these days with many products. It also has a very nice carrying case!

Accurate meter
I had an Omron blood pressure meter that kept giving higher readings than those that were done at the doctors office. I decided to try this A&D meter and it does read lower. I haven’t calibrated it with the doctor’s office readings yet but I know it will at least be closer than my old meter. When I take multiple readings the readings I get with the A&D also seem to be more consistent than with the Omron meter.

Accurate, accessible, and easy to use.
It speaks the instructions and results clearly, which has been really helpful for my aging father who struggles with vision. The cuff fits comfortably and seems to give consistent readings. I like that it alerts you if the cuff isn’t placed correctly, which helps cut down on user error. We also appreciate the TriCheck option, it takes three readings automatically and averages them, giving us more confidence in the results. Setup was simple, and the screen is big and easy to read. The Heart Track app syncs without issues to my phone, making it convenient to track everything over time. The included batteries and carrying case were nice touches too.The design is a bit bulkier than expected, but that’s a minor tradeoff for all the features it offers. Overall, it’s reliable, accessible, and makes monitoring blood pressure at home a lot less stressful.
