Cocoa, Marshmallow, and Smoke
I’ve used a lot of Aromatech oils, with our rotating favorite being The Hotel. For the past couple of years we’ve used Holiday Spice around Christmas, but it’s a very strong “Christmas” smell and doesn’t really fit during Oct/Nov/Jan. I wanted something nice for fall and winter that isn’t overly pine-forward. I think this is a great fall/winter scent if you don’t want traditional Christmas cinnamon/clove/etc. My wife and daughter both really like it, so it’s a winner.I expected this particular scent to be very woody and smoky, so I was kind of surprised when I opened the bottle and smelled a blend of sweet and smoky marshmallow/cocoa notes. After adding it to the diffuser it opened up quite a bit and I was able to smell more complexity and it really grew on me. It’s hard to explain, but imagine hot cocoa, toasted marshmallow, and pleasant underlying smoke that is definitely reminiscent of sitting around a warm campfire with family. It’s not cloying or super sweet as you might expect from reading about marshmallow or hot cocoa notes, and doesn’t smell artificial at all. It’s several subtle scents blended together and it’s quite nice. The smoke note is warm and slightly woody, the only way I can describe it is less like “burning black smoke” and more like “warm white campfire smoke”.Some Aromatech oils are very strong and can be incredibly overwhelming in a small space (Santal, looking at you) but Campfire is less intense and works well in any of the diffusers (we own the HVAC one and the smaller BT one) to cover your home with a nice warm scent that can be used from October through January.I’ve seen some reviews that are very negative about this scent, which is sort of puzzling to me. I definitely was expecting something smoky and woody based on the name, but I wasn’t upset by what was in the bottle. I have sampled or purchased about 80% of Aromatech oils, and this is definitely one of the better ones I’ve smelled for the season. Some can be very reminiscent of perfume/cologne, but this is a great warm home scent that makes me think of past holiday memories.

Worth every **scent** *UPDATE 3 duds and super long delivery time*
On my 50th bottle of Aromatech scents. Seriously have an addiction to Santal Night. But so disappointed right now. The past three scents have not been for me – fine, that’s on me for trying new ones over Amazon. But now I’m awaiting a new one and it’s been more than 10 days, I keep getting delayed notifications;, I’m starting to feel like maybe I should try different brands. This will be my fourth “experiment” into a new Aromatech scent IF I ever get it. I’m so frustrated right now because I have spent a ton of money with this company, the least it can do is get the product to me. If this one is a dud too, I’m out. Finger’s crossed it arrives someday and smells good. I feel like after spending literally hundreds of dollars, decent delivery times and consistent quality are not too much to ask. If you don’t want cologne smelling scents stay away from Santal Escape and Dubai. If you don’t like old perfume smells, stay away from Love Affair. Grand Ball and Hotel are awesome, decadent scents that just make me feel luxurious. Would really love to try Champagne/Amber if they’ll ever send it to me.UPDATE August 29, 2022: I am still in love with this scent. I’ve ordered Dubai, Love Affair, og Santal; this is still my go-to and third bottle. I am removing a star because of the shipping. The last two times I have ordered this product, my package goes missing in transit. It makes no sense and has not happened with any other packages. Is it this seller? I am baffled and annoyed. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but frustrating nonetheless as each time, I have to get a refund and re-order it. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don’t.****** original post*****My home smells lovely and refined. I expected muskier, sexier; but this is amazing on its own. I can’t describe it other than elegant without being stuffy. Imagine a trendy boutique hotel but not the flowery lobby, the exquisite suite. I’m excited to try more!

Bought it for my diffuser and air purifier and it smells amazing! I personally am drawn to sweet scents and this is as good as it gets, has my whole house smelling like fresh baked cake!

Definitely not for me…

I was excited about this new scent! However when I got it and tried it I guickly had to stop and change it to something else. This scent smell like warm pee to me! I find it disgusting.
