UPDATE:After my previous review the merchant contacted me and offered to replace the 2 broken sets of bins. I have actually never taken up a merchant on this offer before – I firmly believe that product reviews should reflect the baseline product and service received and I really dislike the culture of being able to game reviews by sending people free stuff. However, I REALLY liked the bins that hadn’t arrived broken, so I went ahead and accepted the replacement offer.I’m very glad that I did, because the bins arrived in perfect condition and they really are great – they assemble easily and are very sturdy. They stack beautifully and don’t expand at all like the cheaper tubs (which then causes those to not stack so nicely). I love that you can open them from the side or the top. They are perfect for closet or basement organization, super see-through and easy to open and close.At least one of the broken items I had received previously was almost certainly a return – I hope Amazon fixes their warehouse practices here, because it was frustrating to receive 2 broken items, but I’m very grateful to the merchant for making this right because the bins are fantastic. Highly recommend.–OLD REVIEW: I love these bins but I’ve ordered 4 sets and 2 have arrived broken. They seem to holdup ok at home but either shipping is hard on these or I keep getting unvetted returns. Either way, fool me twice… won’t be ordering again.

There are NO Handholdes!
If thse boxes are meant to replace the old cardboard Archive Boxes then there is one major problem… NO HAND HOLDES! The size is ok, but how do you move them when they are FULL? They are smooth on every surface.Yes – Sturdily built – easy to assemble – easy to see through the clear sides – OK to remove the top to get a better view of what’s inside – but… how do you move them when they are full? I wanted clear see through sturdy boxes to store my paper sculpture supplies. I need to access all types and thicknesses of papers especially… not lightweight in bulk. I also need scissors, circle cutters, cutting matts, several types of glues, pens, paints, embellishments, etc. etc… Set them up on a counter next to one another and access and viewing is good. Set them one on top of the other and it’s less easy to get to or see whats insid.. I’m contemplating returning them even though the quality of them is good. Usefulness I’m not so sure about.

Needs to have a more accurate tolerance analysis performed by the manufacturer.
The size and functionality is exactly what I’ve been looking for to finally declutter my workbench. A truly well designed product. Unfortunately I was unable to give this product 5 stars due to a concerning problem that is at the root cause of the following issues that I experienced.The first issues were with assembly. The snap in joints, between the base and sides of each bin, were not strong enough to resist the pressure necessary for assembly. The sides would too easily pop out of their bottom joints when applying the needed force to clear the space to make the, male to female, connection between two side panels. Which would often cause a cascading release of the joints on any side panels that were already connected to that one. I was able to eventually get the things assembled, but the excessive amount of time and frustration it took to complete a simple snap in assembly process couldn’t be ignored.The last issue is with the exterior alignment of the components once assembled. In the picture you can see the gaps present between each bin due to the pressures of simply existing causing the base to deform. The top bin’s corners, without a bin above it to push down, do not sit flush. Which is likely also the cause of the deformation happening between the stacked bins.To me, it looks like these issues are signs that the manufacturer is doing a poor job of managing the tolerances for this product. The joints make a nice solid feeling crisp sound that you would expect from a well designed snap in joint. Yet when they release it’s a mushy soft feeling that would suggest a material has poor structural integrity. Further supported by the way it deforms when stacked together.

Easy to put together and great for adding extra storage space
These drawers were super easy to put together and they are a game changer for storing items in your closet or pantry. They are very sturdy and stack on top of each other like a glove. You get 3 drawers which are a great value for the price. I will be ordering more.
