Beautiful, healthy plant.
I got this ponytail palm as a gift for my niece! It is just beautiful, much larger than I expected and it’s in perfect health. It was packaged properly and went to her with no damage at all. Definitely worth the money.

NEVER DISAPPOINTED ALWAYS PERFECT
Costa Farms NEVER disappoints me. I have ordered several different plants and they ALL have been excellent. I have purchased costa farms plants at different stores they are always nice and in excellent shape. I would not hesitate to purchase or continuing to purchase. If I am looking for a certain plant I always check them first. My pony tail could not be better if I picked it out my self. It is a beautiful, perfect plant. Exceeded all expectations
I’m still stunned. I can’t believe how beautiful this plant is and that it came in the mail. I lost my first beaucarnia that I had for over 30 years, when I moved. Since it’s a lifetime commitment I hesitated to get another one. I’m very glad that I did. I feel like I was sent a very special new friend. The ponytail palm came expertly packed and arrived safely despite winter temperatures. It came in a decorative pot, which really makes the price worth it. These plants get quite large, so be prepared. Unlike my last one, this one has been topped and has three separate branches so I imagine it’s going to grow quite differently. I recommend the seller and this beaucarnia.

Poor broken, sad (now I can add rotted) ponytail palm
This palm arrived in pretty bad shape. The box was pretty flimsy. It had been crushed to the point of being opened. Someone along the way taped it back together, but there were leaves sticking out from the sides and top and caught in the tape. It looks like it would have been a beautiful plant had it not been that most of the leaves were broken off or crushed. I have bought many plants from Costa Farms and they have aways, in the past, arrived in good shape. I’m so disappointed. This plant should have been double boxed at the very minimum. I’m not going to return it because it has been through enough stress already. I will see if I can save it with a lot of TLC and time, but I don’t know, I’m not a miracle worker. :-(12/22/25 UPDATE:There was no saving it. It was rotten at the trunk. All of the leaves fell off and when I took it out of the pot the bottom of the trunk was stinky, fishy smelling mush. I’m going to have to return this pile of stink to get my money back. Costa Farms will only help you if you bought it directly from them. Guess I’m done with them. What a pain in my tookass!!

The plant arrived in a sturdy box and was packaged as well as possible for a live plant. The plant arrived healthy, vibrant, and undamaged. It exceeded my expectations in both quality and size, especially considering the price. Overall, an excellent value and a great purchase.

Pretty plant, but not so pretty shipping
Very pretty plant, but shipment wasn’t great. Shipping box was smashed and leaves were sticking out and one leaf was taped to the box with the shipping tape. I thought of only giving three stars, but the plant itself is very nice! See my pics…

An adorable plant that thrives on neglect (basically)
First of all, I am highly impressed with how well this plant was packaged. This was the first plant I ever ordered online and i certainly had my doubts, however this ponytail palm arrived perfectly healthy and looks great straight out of the pot. It’s the perfect size and looks adorable in my home.The real win is how low maintenance it is. It does well indoors and doesn’t need frequent watering, which makes it ideal if you love plants but sometimes forget they exist. Somehow, it still looks great. Highly recommend for busy homes or anyone with a less-than-stellar plant track record. Thank you Costa Farms!
