The thing I didn’t know I needed
This is exactly what I needed! I plug it in when I get to the office, and by lunchtime the food is hot and ready to eat. It’s small and fits inside my lunch box. It works well and is a great value. This is a reputable brand, so I know it will be durable and last a long time.

Two years later, still a good purchase!
I bought one of these going on two years ago now, and it is still going strong! It’s been one of the best purchases I have made, and cuts down on the stress of preparing work lunches. I plug it in at 8:00, and it’s hot and ready at lunch, even from frozen. I think it takes 2-2.5 hours to warm up the food. I have put small frozen meals in this, as well as things like homemade things right from the fridge. It gets very hot, so it is worth unplugging and at taking the top off 15 to 30 minutes before you are ready to eat. I generally put a bit of water in it with the food before turning it on to keep things from burning to the bottom, but this does seem to create a bit of a suction effect, and the top can become very difficult to unscrew. But apart from that quirk, it is a fantastic little lunchbox and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

Hot Meals on the Go, But a Bit Small
I really like the Crock-Pot Portable Electric Lunch Box (20-Ounce) — it heats food evenly and is perfect for taking a hot meal to work or on the road. The stainless steel interior is easy to clean, and the leak-proof lid and locking system work well. I also love that it can plug into both a wall outlet and a car outlet.The only downside is the size. It’s pretty small — I can fit about one whole can of soup comfortably, so if you want a larger lunch, you’ll need to pack multiple containers or go for something bigger.Bottom line: Great for solo meals or a light lunch, but not ideal if you’re super hungry. Still, a convenient and reliable option.

So convenient and a daily use
My absolute favorite item as a teacher. It is so easy to bring to school and have a hot lunch quick and easy. It is small enough to fit in a lunch pail, and it holds the perfect serving size. The price is worth it, as I use this nearly everyday. It has held up great, I do hand wash the container every use. I love this so much I bought another one! Green is my favorite color of the item!

Amazing warmer!!!
**UPDATE** its December of 2025 and this still works great!! I use it multiple times a week and it works just as well as when I first bought it! Great for frozen soups/meals. I purchased “Silipint: Silicone 20oz Lidded Bowls: 2 Pack: Deep Pool & Moonstone – Unbreakable, Flexible, Microwave-Oven-Dishwasher” (a little pricy but fully worth it, I bought three sets for meal prep) I fill the bowls with soup, my meal preps or leftovers and then freeze. Once they are frozen I transfer the food to labeled freezer bags. After that it is a “grab and Go” situation, the food slides right into the warmer bowl. I mean it is a perfect fit! I plug the warmer in at my desk and by time I take my lunch my meal is super hot. I upgraded the review to a five star because after so long this thing is still wonderful and the paint issue isn’t that serious. I leave the crock pot in my desk and I put the cord inside of it so the “cord issue” is no longer an issue. The insert is the only thing that travels with me to and from work. When it finally stops working I will not hesitate to buy another.So far this thing does exactly what it supposed to. It does a great job in reheating food. If I have bone in chicken and mashed potatoes, it usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour for the food to get hot hot. So this is my second mini crockpot I had one years ago, and there are things I prefer on the new one and then other things I prefer on the old one. I love that the lid on the new one screws on Now. I don’t have to worry about food spilling out of the bowl. The cord on the new crockpot is detachable now, not an improvement I’m my opinion. I suppose it’s for ease of storage or maybe so it’ll wrap nicer but for the life of me I cannot get the cord to stay wrapped up. It’s like the cord is just a hair too long so the plugs don’t stay in their designated spots. They are forever popping out. That is pretty frustrating. I’m usually carrying a handful of things from my car to office every morning and having to put it all down to pick up the cord that fell off the bottom of my food warmer halfway through a fleet yard is not joy. I think I’m gonna try Velcro. See if I can’t find a way to make it stay. I love the color of mine. I got the green one, but the paint on the small gray rim that the lid screws into it’s already wearing off and I’ve only had this for about a month now. I don’t really wash the base of the mini crockpot but I spot clean it. The paint hasn’t rubbed off from excessive wear and tear or too much of anything like that. It’s just doesn’t stick that well I guess. This item lost a star because of the paint and the cord issue. It works great and does what it supposed to do and it’s not giant like the other food warmers I’ve seen. overall happy with my purchase..

Heats up reasonably quick and hot!
Heats up faster than I expected! I have been using it for leftovers, ready in about an hour but I haven’t checked really to see if its warm sooner. I just plug it in about an hour before lunch. This morning I put in quick oats, flax seed, dried fruit and water and drove to work. It seals tights so no worry of spills. Plugged it in and perfect oatmeal! Again I plugged it in and checked on it in a hour. It may have been done sooner. I should pay more attention. I love this thing! It does get really hot too! I dislike having to use the microwave at work for many reasons I’m sure you can understand but the microwave dries things out. This little crock-pot doesn’t dry out my lunch! I don’t know how I managed before having it! Would highly recommend.

La verdad es que le doy un 9.9 de calificación, ya que es perfecta para llevarla incluso a tu trabajo y de esa manera poder calentar tus alimentos, en lo personal eso es el mejor pro del producto, sin embargo, el único defecto que le encontré es que no cuenta con algún interruptor de encendido y apagado por lo que lo debes estar desconectando para que deje de calentar, de ahí en fuera, todo muy bien 👌🏻.

My last crockpot food warmer has been serving me for nine or ten years. Had to buy a new one as the old one started leaking through the screw at the bottom and the lid did not close up for a while already. First thing – it is really good food warmer, in my opinion, particularly if you like soups. It is compact so you can fit it easily to a lunchbox. It heats the soup within two hours so trouble free lunch at work guaranteed.Two little things did not impressed me very much. My old crockpot – they should sell the lid part as spare part as this broke first, after couple of years of use. My new crockpot – they sent me a crockpot with US plug – I am based in UK. Not extremely difficult to fix but inconvenient. All in all – good product. Recommend it.
