Very handy, vacuum cleaner
Wonderful not to have a cord! Lightweight and easy for me and my wife to carry around. We haven’t mounted the bracket yet, but looks like it’s a handy little device to hang on the wall and plug in. Love the turbo part on the vacuum cleaner which really sucks up dust, and dirt. It’s very handy to dump the dust and dirt with the ejector button and all attachments easily snap in and out. Charge is pretty quickly.

Convenient,Quick, & Effective for Small/Medium Homes
Very convenient for home use. Much easier than traditional vacuum, quick effective cleaning, battery life is more than enough to vacuum my modestly sized home in low or medium power setting. Not the best for vacuuming my car, difficult to reach nooks and crannies and suction isnt sufficient deep vacuuming, but with rotating vacuum head in high power mode, works great on floor mats/broader flat areas. Dust container is small, but emptying container is easy and quick, subsequently may not be suited for larger homes.

Good vacuum but just short of the mark.
The wheel is a bit clumsy and for an “over engineered” vacuum there are lots of small things (like giving you 4 accessories but a mount that holds two or a filter that requires frequent cleaning with water) but compared to other stick vacuums, this is great at the price point of $240-$270. Picks up dirt very well and the suction can be adjusted though it affects the battery life. All in all a good purchase.

Great vacuum with great engineering. Picks up a lot of dirt. Not good for large jobs because it picks up so much that it fills up fast. It would have been to expensive it were not on a great sale price.

The Dyson V9 has completely changed my cleaning routine—in the best way. It’s incredibly lightweight, easy to maneuver, and powerful enough to handle everything from everyday crumbs to pet hair without missing a beat. I will note that if you have animals that shed a lot – buy the Dyson Animal. I’ve got that too for when the hair is out of control.The battery life is debated in the comments, but its absolutely sufficient for the occasional tidying up of the house. Know your use case before purchasing – if you are looking for a vacuum for your entire home, you’ll probably be emptying the reservoir often & should buy something like the Dyson Animal. I purchased this to basically act like a Dustbuster – but one with actual power.The attachments are actually useful, and I love not being tied to a cord. It feels like Dyson thought of every little detail with this one. My floors have never looked better, and cleaning honestly feels so much faster and easier.If you’re on the fence, just do it—you’ll wonder how you lived without it!

Horrid Design: No Easy Dust Emptying Method
Are you INSANE, Dyson? WHAT the @#$% ???!!!? Due to my full Disabled status–largely related to nearly full LOSS of USE OF MY HANDS, I urgently purchased the new V9 at 65% off–thinking it was a great deal. No! This is a Fire Sale.If you are close to ‘Add to Cart’ WAIT & please be aware of a major design flaw of the V9.This nightmare DESIGN requires that you fully disassemble the vacuum in order to empty its collected dust. To empty each vacuum’s collected filth–you must TAKE APART THE VACUUM!WHAT A NIGHTMARE. This is 4x more effort than my broken down V8 already repaired thrice and sent with last night week’s garbage. So?!? This 65% mark down will need to go to 89% OFF to unload this horrifically designed DUD.Due to the inefficient design, grave shooting pain rips from my fingers through my wrists bilaterally in wrestling to empty the sticky and disagreeable bin. It does not shoot down with ease, but tgat must be AFTER you havd wrestled the buttons on the long neck to open– utterly impossible for my spine with a 7″ steel rod and 4 steel plates across left hip. I have to finnagle the unit sjdeways crouch forward while the base rolls away–pull it backwards to access the middle. THEN drop the lower unit–as it rolls further away–in order to wrsdtle sith the rounded Top. Then since the vacuum has no On Off switch, each time i grasp the top the sucking begins again. Twirling in my hands, it is impossible to perch, post, lean, or leverage this top piece tl force to open. Meanwhike dust and hair are leaking from the unit.Once i finally am twisted like a pretzel covered jn dirt, withered by pain, furious with the Fates, fed up as hell, the Dust Bow! Still won’t open. After pushing, thudding, pressing, and banging on it with pliars ( no use of my hands, remember? Including wrists!!!) the Bin opens, showering my pants the kitchen floor, the trash bin, plus all surrounding areas with filth.Now. WHAT was the purpose in me vacuuming to BEGIN with?!???SOLUTIONDYSON: MAY I PLEASE HAVE A V8 MODEL sent to me for the immense emotional and physical strain caused by thix wicked waste of time and energy?CSS

Not worth it, even on sale.
Probably the least impressive vacuum I have owned. It is lightweight and portable, but it lacks in suction power and battery life. Would not recommend, even at the sale price of $270, which was 55% off. Garbage.
