Good for hot soup!
Withstands the heat of hot soup! Also holds a nice amount. Needed this for a holiday meal where we ate outside. Outside meant we couldn’t use our regular china. Enter these eco-friendly bowls. We used these and plates made of the same material, and both gave the table an elegant appearance with the flexibility we needed of disposable dinnerware

Very wobbly and unstable
These bowls are sturdy, but they don’t sit upright very well when they have food in them. Thankfully we just used them for some side dishes, but I can’t imagine trying to eat soups or anything with more liquid out of them without making a mess.

Durable
Good quality! Not brittle or flimsy at all and the color was fairly consistent. They were the perfect look for a bridal shower I hosted and everyone seemed pleased with them.

Looks great, if only it were the correct product
I made a last minute decision to serve hot soup for dinner at a group camping trip and, alas, I only had two disposable bowls left. So I hopped on trusty Amazon, did a bunch of review research, and decided to try palm leaf dinnerware for the first time (exciting!). It’s more expensive, but I felt it would be worth it for the more reliable leakproofness and the novelty of the experience.Unfortunately, instead of the 6″ bowls I ordered, I received 10″ plates. Normally I’d request a replacement but I guess not this time because:Reason #1:Very weirdly, the product sticker says it’s a 6″ bowl. I did a double take, got out the tape measure, looked at pictures in the listing again. I definitely got plates! And they’re factory sealed! It’s not like someone bought it, swapped out the dinnerware (who knows why, but the world of Amazon Returns is the wild wild west). The factory goofed and if I got a replacement, there’s probably a good chance it would still be wrong.Reason #2:Because the trip is coming up fast, I decided to order paper bowls with way more and higher ratings to make sure I’ll get bowls and not plates. They’re due to arrive on the day we leave omg (our neighborhood Walgreens was out of bowls unfortunately). And so at this point we’ll be drowning in paper bowls and don’t need to also have a stack of palm leaf bowls as well.I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was kind of wild! And reviews are kind of fun – I might start writing more. 🙂

Happy Rabbit
I’m not sure I would use them for food personally but they seem sturdy enough so that I could if I wanted to. BUT my bunny was super happy. She loves these things to toss around and chew on. Great value for a “bunny treat or toy”.

Perfect for açaí bowls
These bowls were perfect for an açaí bowl bar. The size was fantastic and people loved the quality of the bowl to hold such a heavy main element!

They get mistaken for wooden bowls. The most beautiful compostables I’ve ever seen. I live these for picnics, barbecues and pot lucks. And you can put them in the compost. Very nice!

Only 18 bowls were packed instead of 20.
