UPDATE: I’ve been using this for a while now and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. There’s nothing else to say, really.I’m like a lot of other workers in Canada – working in a place where you end up waiting for a microwave at lunch time so this lunch box is a perfect solution!I ordered one of these a while back and it was stolen before I got it so I ended up ordering a different one, one that looked more basic, and while it was the same price ($29.99) it is absolutely horrible compared to this one. We’re talking steak vs bologna. But on the bright side I have an almost identical product to compare this too and I am really glad.Right out of the box this one is heavier and seems to be a totally different quality of plastic. This one is solid and feels like a quality item. When you take the lid off, even the lid is heavy and sturdy. The other one was junk. So really, from the first moments you know this is a quality product.My only real complaint, if there is one, is that the instructions aren’t clear. The other one was awful and ended up confusing me about the light / on / off button situation, so I looked towards the instructions for an explanation. The instructions were fuzzy but I was able to get it figured out.I was really impressed to see the fork and spoon, as well as the additional little plastic container. The option of being able to plug it in a standard outlet or into the car / truck is brilliant.When you plug it in it turns on. There’s no button. It’s plug and play.This lunch box is basically a mini slow cooker. And it does get hot. Just ask my spouse, they found out the hard way. No serious burns or anything but lets just say don’t go touching the inside when it’s been on for a while, it gets hot.It has a vent on top to be kept open when it’s heating and it heats up quite quick. I’m not going to lie, it’s going to take some trial and error so far as timing goes. I take a number of different things for lunch, from leftovers to pizza pockets and while some are pretty straight forward, I love this things so much I’m not going to quit until I figure out how to use it to heat everything.Oh, one word of warning though. The cover (very good quality cover) that fits over the plug ins, has a little screw type plug in it and mine popped out when I opened it up to plug it in. It could have been my doing because I was fiddling with it so I’m not docking stars and it didn’t affect anything so I’m not docking stars. When I found it I just popped it back in.Everything considered, the lunch box, the versatility, the quality, the price, the carry bag, I have absolutely no concerns about giving this product 5 stars.

I basically work out of my car, and in an effort to eat healthier while at the same time trying to not spend so much on eating out, I’ve been bringing my own food with me. For a long time, I’ve struggled with the same issue of having to eat cold food. Microwaves obviously consume too much power and obviously aren’t very portable to bring into the car, so I didn’t think I had any other options… until I finally discovered this Electric Lunch Box by NestDin.You receive everything you need to operate this electric lunch box, right out of the package. From the insulated bag to keep your food warm for longer, to small spoon and fork (I bring my own, but these are great to have in case you forgot the primary ones). There is a 0.45L small plastic container for fruits, desserts, etc. The main stainless steel 1.5L capacity container provides with ample room for the average person’s meal, and allows for extremely easy cleanup afterwards.Operation is extremely simple and easy. All you have to do is just place your food in the container and approx. 20-30 minutes before you want to eat, add a bit of water between the container with your food, and the other part of the box that heats the food, and plug it in to start heating. Thats it!I know there may be technical reasons/limitations for this, but my only wish would be to have the ability to power this via USB C cord, that are everywhere now, vs the standard power cord that it comes with, that I have to carry around everywhere.Overall, this has been a complete game changer in my entire life. The morale boost alone from having an actual warm meal, is immense! I cannot recommend this electric lunch box enough.

A really complete set, for in the car or the lunch room. One must only remember to plug in, 45-60 minutes before you want to eat your hot lunch. Great for a cold climate.
