Economical and no dishes! Yay
Made better then I thought. I’ve used for salads and soup and my canned products I’ve bought from Amazon.
Susan Gilmore –
Disposable. Saves dishwashing. Holds liquids fine.
I have long-time habit is putting dirty dishes in the sink instead right in the dishwasher. So trying something new, disposable bowls. It works, and makes life easier (and cleaner). I also use the bowls to feed food to the feral cats. Downside is storage. They fit fine ontop of the refrigerator, along with the disposable dinner plates. I have the dessert plates ontop of the microwave. I love these!

Compostable AND microwave safe!
OK, here’s the scoop: These alleged 12 ounce bowls require surface tension with the strength of steel to keep 12 ounces of soup in the bowl. It can SAFELY hold about 9 ounces if you are planning on walking with your bowl from the kitchen to the living room.BUT—HOORAY COMPOSTABLE AND MICROWAVE SAFEBUT IS ANYONE REALLY GOING TO COMPOST THIS? EVEN IF IT’S RINSED OUT OR CLEANED OUT AND PUT IN RECYCLING., will it be recycled in your neighborhood???In my state, nothing is recycled anymore. It all gets put into the same landfill.I thought about digging a hole for these things, but I don’t know if I wanna go to the trouble at this point in my life. If I were 10 years younger, it might be a worthy experiment. But right now I have a lot less time to accomplish something, and I don’t think that’s it.BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT VERY FEW PLACES EXIST WHERE RECYCLING IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING ANYMORE!!!!It’s great to do it and to keep the habit, but when you see the same truck come around for the recyclables and the trash, they are not even trying to preserve the illusion. So do not be diluted nobody is composting these things. They are not even making it to recycling because many states no longer recycle anything. There is no place to do it and they’re closing all the plants.in peace with hope— although I don’t know why I still hope.Somebody has to I guess
