great little smoke detector
nice and easy to set up. like the compactness of it and knowing it’s a kidde makes mea lot more comfortable and at ease. i tried cheaper brands and they didn’t even work during a smokey condition. battery life of 10 years! is a great value . this smoke detector is much more dependable than all the others in my opinion

Great investment
My carbon monoxide detector went out and I replaced it with this one. The directions were easy to read and it was easy to put up on my wall. As the price of life goes up every day you really can’t put a price on safety. That being said, this product wasn’t too expensive for its value. I’m hoping to get at least 10 years out of this. That’s how long my previous one lasted.

Nice smoke detector
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this because I was looking at getting a replacement smoke detector with a long-life battery. This detector was easy to install and put into service.

Good but one deduction for mounting
Would give it 5 except the mounting base has 2 set holes for mounting screws, and they don’t match either of two brands of alarms I’m replacing. Seems they could have molded the mounting like the photo below to make it more universal for replacing older alarms.

Well-made and easy to install. Great value for money.

Easy install and startup.
Easy to put into service. I’ll be back in 10 years and delete stars if the battery dies early.
Karen Clark –
Nice
What can I say but they look great and hold tight and I’ll never run out.

Highly Rated
I bought this after reviewing Consumer Reports and several “tech” related platforms. This rated consistently high. Hopefully I never need to find out anything more about how well it works!!!
