Price per feeding is better.
My two Cane Corso females enjoy the flavor. The price is more expensive but I noticed the quality is much better. I have to feed a lot less daily because they were gaining weight. So price per feeding is overall better than what I was purchasing. I did notice it is helping decrease skin allergy.

Excellent choice for food allergies!
My golden retriever was eating another very highly recommended food that is very expensive. She started having problems with skin allergies that we thought were environmental at first. However, my vet determined it was probably a newly developed allergy from her food, which I understand is not uncommon. My vet recommended a prescription diet, but I just could not afford it. A friend who raises golden retrievers recommended this food, and it has been wonderful. Her skin issues have healed, there is less scratching and chewing, which is now down to almost zero after only one bag.The cost of this food is half of what the prescription food would have been. I am very pleased and so is my Freya.

Don’t stack heavy boxes against someone’s screen door please
The item is fairly priced and healthy for our dog. However when the delivery driver puts a 40 pound box in front of someone’s screen door. This occurs on a regular basis. Just lay it down flat somewhere on the front porch. Thanks for listening…

Great Customer service!
One of my pups has a very sensitive belly, and we spend quite some time trying to find a food that kept him healthy and having solid poops. We landed on Natural Balance land and brown rice, and have used to now for almost 3 years. Recently, that dogs had a bought of diarrhea. We trued to figure out what could possibly have caused the issue, and couldn’t explain why he had gotten sick. I an effort to find out- I called the customer service # I found on the bag – I want to see if they had changed their ingredients in any way. It did and up that they had changed the ingredients very slightly (if I remember correctly, the switched the type of oil – I think Canola was replaced with sunflower – something of that nature – very minor. But I got a quick answer, was forwarded to the correct person, and got comfortable with the idea that the oil change was unlikely to be the cause. After his GI settled down with a gentle diet – we restarted him on the Natural balance food, and shortly after, he was fine.You get so used to getting through automatic answering machine, slow replies from customer service and never getting an answer, dealing with Natural Balance’s customer service was a pleasant surprise.
