Love it and trust it — I’ll keep buying it.
My vet recommended Rescue Concentrate when I asked what they use to disinfect exam rooms. Been using it ever since.Bleach water (8–10%) works too and costs less, but it’s rough on some surfaces, smells bad, and takes longer to dry. Rescue smells kind of like hydrogen peroxide, but it evaporates quickly — faster than water, though not as fast as isopropyl.I spray it everywhere: floors, cabinets, doors, rugs, even my leather couch. Tested it first on old rugs, and it didn’t stain or fade anything.I’ve got chickens and sometimes board dogs. Works great around the coop and patio (when they’re out), and it actually helps with odors. It’s not Febreze, but outdoors it kills that dog and chicken smell way better than expected.It’s my go‑to cleaner for daily use. If an animal gets sick or a new dog visits, I break out Virkon S — more heavy‑duty, but also harsher. For everything else, Rescue Concentrate is safe, simple, and solid for everyday cleaning.

It’s very effective at eliminating odors and leaves behind a clean, fresh scent without being overwhelming—a must when you’re dealing with multiple animals in a confined space. I particularly appreciate that it does not leave any sticky residue, which I’ve found to be a problem with other cleaners.It’s also worth noting that the spray nozzle is not included. While initially, I was a bit put off by this, it turned out to be a non-issue as I simply used a nozzle from another bottle, and it worked perfectly. Peace of mind when ringworm is plaguing your household! 😌
I bought the ready to use bottle of rescue when I found out our kitten had ringworm. There aren’t many cleaning products that will kill fungus (most are targeted towards bacteria and viruses). Cleaning and disinfecting has been a nightmare but this product has given me peace of mind. I love that it works to get rid of the fungus that causes ringworm in cats and people and I love that it’s safe to use around everyone! I’ve been using bleach a lot and it was really strong after a few days so this is so much better and so worth the price! I even emailed the company directly to see if it has to be diluted with distilled water or if tap was ok and they said either is fine! So easy to use and a gallon concentrate will last such a long time!

Tough but Gentle Cleaner with no Harsh Smell
I use this in my house. I have a cat and I also have a chronic illness that makes me a little sensitive to harsh cleaners like bleach. Rescue is a little expensive but worth it–no chemical smell, you don’t have to rinse it off of surfaces after it dries like you would bleach when there’s an animal walking around, and I have used it on my vinyl planking floors, my bathroom vanities, my quartz kitchen counters, my carpet and even my sofa with no staining. I have one fabric chair that I can’t use it on but I think that thing would stain with any cleaner. It kills almost anything but is very gentle, which justifies the cost. It doesn’t irritate my skin if I get some on me, either. I wish the 32 oz had a spray nozzle, but I just pour some onto some paper towels before cleaning, and it works just fine. Overall, very happy with this product. Just don’t use with bleach–bleach and hydrogen peroxide create a dangerous gas. So use one or the other.

Seems strong enough to attack bacteria
Seems to work. My dog hasn’t dog hasn’t gotten sick (visiting dog had kennel cough). Does have smell, I wore a mask as a precaution. My only suggestion is to include a sprayer for the bottle. Luckily I had a clean, empty bottle that the sprayer fit the Rescue.

The best option to keep your pets safe
When my kitty got sick, this helped keep my other kitties from catching the deadly virus. The dilution ratio makes the size of this bottle worth the higher price point. Bleach doesn’t kill everything. Don’t risk your pet’s health. This is the best option.
