Saved my dog’s life, now she’s acting half her age!
Life altering food, especially when combined with wet food!I have a whippet, they are thin dogs, especially as they age. Mine had become concerningly thin and nothing really working.Then I woke to her almost nonresponsive. The day prior she ate too much, specifically sardines, and was up all night vomiting.Thankfully she recovered over 72 hours. Yet was now even more fragile.I had always assumed that a decent kibble in the USA was meeting certain regulatory standards. My dog had self regulated her kibble intake since a puppy and was fed fresh food at least one meal a day.Well, turns out there is a dog food subreddit on Reddit. It also turned out I was incredibly ignorant.I decided to start with this dry food and the wet food first based on their recommendations and would continue with their recommendations until finding the right one.This one, has been life changing. My eight year oldWhippet is as energetic as she was when she was four years old. She has no gastrointestinal problems. Her poop is much healthier. Her coat has more luster and is softer. Mentally she’s a bit more astute, defiant, and rambunctious. She’s more apt to respectfully push our limits and bounds than before.Things to consider, this is incredibly high quality kibble and the price is justified in my view, however it is significantly higher cost than lower quality kibble.My dog will often turn up her nose at kibble unless there’s some of the wet food mixed in. I found using a large zip lock bag to hold mixed dry and wet foodTo be useful.The wet food, is of a very strong scent. This also affects their breath immediately after eating.Long story short, I will happily spend my money on this high quality, life changing, product. It likely saved my dog’s life one bite at a time.Approximately one month later her weight is approaching a healthy state and am no longer worried about her.

Kibble is small for tiny dogs too. Never had an issue with product. Dogs digest easily and perfect poops every time

My finicky dog likes it!
My young Sheltie became very picky about what she would eat after she was about 7 months old. I went through a lot of brands until I found Royal Canin Digestive Care for small dogs. It’s her primary food now and it made her hair fill in better. Sometimes she won’t eat it, so I give my dog her second favorite food until she is tired of it, then I give her this kind again. A friend told me her poodle likes a little variety in his food options too. Digestive Care has been better for her tummy.

Great for dogs with colitis but a bit pricey

We balance her meals with ground turkey or chicken, pumpkin, sweet potato, and rice, providing her with a wholesome diet. Overall, while the food is effective and well-liked, the cost is something to consider for those on a budget.

Helped our sensitive stomach Husky
I have a Siberian Husky with a sensitive stomach so it was suggested to get a dog food that might help. The vet that suggested the food says it can be tough sometimes to get dogs to eat the digestive care food. However, she loved this food once we got her stomach settled down we had no issues getting her to eat this food… she loved it. It really did help keep her stomach calm.
