Kinda Scarey
Scared my small dog and he wouldn’t go outside so had to carry him out. Took about a week after I took it down from the back yard to where he would outside by himself.

Not effective
Have to choose 1-star but would not choose an earring at all. Disappointed in this product. Purchased to quiet the neighbors barking dogs and sadly this device does not work! Plus battery life does not last. Would return but missed my return window 🤨.

Ineffective
I followed the steps (within range; ~4 ft off ground; etc) and it did not work. No noticeable change in barking behavior. Product recommends a few weeks before it potentially starts working. I gave it that time, and still no results. So now I came here to return it and since I gave it the recommended time, the return window has now closed. So now it is a paperweight. The delivery experience was prompt and product arrived on time and intact.

Works great, but not instantly.
Takes a few days for dogs to figure it out, but works great! Wish I would have bought the more powerful model, but happy with this for $59. Make sure to place it somewhere with direct line of sight, and give it a few days. It does work.

Barking Dogs

It works for me!
I bought the bark device a month ago. I have a new neighbor with 5 dogs, two huge and three constant little yappers. Within just a few days of them moving in, it just became intolerable, i couldnt be in my own yard without the constant assault and never ending barking. I mounted it on a tree, and waited. The instructions say it can take up to two weeks to train them, but I found that it started pretty instantaneous. The first time after I hung it the dogs came running and barking but they stopped about half way across their yard and ran back to their porch, over the next week I observed them coming out, they would bark a couple of times and either run back to their porch or they just didn’t bark but once every now and then. So it does not stop the determined barkers completely but cuts out at least eighty percent of it whitch i can live with. The downside is the 9 volt battery only last for about a month. So what I did is bought a year’s worth of batteries and put a reminder in my calendar to change it on the first of every month. My peace of mind is worth it.
