UPDATE: After submitting a 3-star review (see below) the company reached out and offered a refund. As I stated in my original review–that the clipper was sturdy, sharp, and well-made–I decided to use their refund to purchase it again, assuming the first one was just defective.Original Review: I was initially very happy with this nail clipper. It felt sturdy, sharp, and well-made—definitely more high-end than most clippers I’ve used. Unfortunately, the spring snapped after only six months of intermittent use. While it performed great while it lasted, I expected it to hold up longer given the quality feel.

Throw away your traditional clippers , for do it yo ur self jobs this is the tool you need . But keep the others for helping Somekne.Good quality. A bit pricey but worth the price . Easy to use , good functional tool.

These clippers are sharp, well designed, easy to use. Only flaw is the little lock on the handle, the mechanism of which is easily, unintentionally locked by your fingers as you trim your toenails. All told, though, a very good tool.

Toe Down, this a winner
First of all, I can’t believe this costs less than $10. It is entirely metal, finished nicely and yes, it cuts great. I’d say for decades now all of my toe nail clippers were having a rough go getting thru my big toe nails. Presently closing in on 82, going strong and hey, maybe those toe nails clippers added to my finger strength. Hadn’t thought of that aspect until now.What I used to need to do was soak my feet to tenderize the nails and then quickly cut them. But these babies work wonderful out of the box (no nail ternderizing needed). There goes my finger strength unless I alternate with the old usual clippers…I’ll have to ponder that trade off don’t ya think? But for you old geezers not giving a rats about finger strength use these unless your perky trophy wife or girlfriend does this chore for you. Happy trails….

Best clippers we have ever purchased
These are so easy and helpful. I even got a pair for my father n law. My husband is diabetic and 73 yrs old. His toenails are horrible to care for. They are tough and thick and must be maintained. As a retired nurse I knew we needed these to help us. My husband can’t bend with his back to care for his feet so I do it. My hands have arthritis in them which can make it a challenge. I ordered these clippers, they are very sharp and open up x-wide to get his nails in them. I can squeeze them to cut without any difficulty at all. So I bought for dad and he is very pleased with them also. They also have a separate nail file to finish any edges. These come in a nice metal case that keeps them secure and ready for use. You won’t be disappointed, just be careful not to cut yourself as they are very sharp, light weight and easy to use. They also have a locking button ton the top of clippers to protect the sharp edges.

Really good for aging parents
These toenail clippers for seniors are so much better than regular nail clippers when working with elderly parents. Thick, curving nails are common for older folks and these clippers have an easier angle and wider open area to make trimming nails easier. The clippers are well made and sturdy, and they have a lock function when not in use. Even when you have to go through thick areas these pass the test. Excellent product.

Too Small For Toe Nails!!
What am I missing here! The clips I received can barely clip fingernails, there is no way I can get these around toe nails! Other than the opening being very small, there are nice clips, good construction & sturdy! But I wouldn’t buy these for “toe nails” unless your toe nails are thin.

I broke my wife’s clippers on my manly, strong toenails which I am advised may resemble those of a bear, which i take as a compliment. So I bought these and they are absolutely the right tool for the job. Industrial strength clippers for adult male with adult male toenails… or bears
