Many years ago as a teenager I worked for a large, famous restaurant. We had stainless steel bowls such as these. They worked well but they were heavy. They had no silicone on their bottoms so we would put down a wet hand towel to sit them on so they wouldn’t slide around. Now with these excellent bowls with bottoms covered in silicone.. they are a joy to work with. Furthermore, they are lighter than the old traditional steel bowls I use to work with.Bottom line: The wife and I are very happy with these nesting bowls. We’ve had them and used them for many weeks almost daily and they are excellent. Sturdy, light, non-slip, and easy to clean. I highly recommend them

Simple and grip the counter top
The bowls are great they are sturdy and hold up well in the dishwasher. The colors are a pleasant touch and I didn’t expect to like the bottom silicone part as much as I did but it’s already saved me from knocking one over.

Bowls great, lids iffy.
I like the size and weight of the bowls but some of the lids don’t seal well. They just kinda set there.

Great value for the price
These are heavier than I expected for the price. I had low expectations, but they’re great. I like the silicone bottoms. I’ve been using them daily for 3 months in the kitchen and don’t have any dings or scratches like other people have said. I also don’t have any issue with the lids coming off in the fridge like other people said, they stay on strong for me. It’s possible they’re putting them on wrong to begin with, they’re very tight to put on. You have to follow the directions, one side to the other, and push the air out. I think they work great. I use them in the kitchen, but I also use them for soap making. I can pre measure my oils out into the bowls, put the lids on, and set them aside until I’m ready. When I’m ready, I can pop the whole bowl over a pot of water and melt all the oils like a double boiler. I even made a batch (with lye) inside of one of the bowls (now removed from kitchen circulation) and it went great! I might buy a second pack for my soap room. I’ll update my review if the bowls don’t stand up to multiple batches of soap, but so far so good. I couldn’t get an answer on what the lids are made of, so I would not leave the lids in contact with lye.

I love everything about these bowls and use them all the time. They all stack compactly inside one another, and so take up as little space as possible in the cabinet. You can also tower the bowls one on top of another with their lids on, because the lids offer a flat surface to put the next bowl on top (some bowls I have used in the past have more domed lids, and so this is not possible). Having 6 sizes offers a lot of options, and the biggest one is great for making extra large salads (lots of room to toss without the ingredients spilling out over the edge). The color coordinated lids ensure you get the right one every time, and the lids fit very nicely in their respective bowls. The non-slip bottoms of the bowls are fantastic when you’re mixing things inside because they don’t walk all over your countertop. Easy to clean. Some scratching inside from using a hand-mixer, but that is to be expected, and it doesn’t compromise the integrity of the bowls. I would buy these again.
