This rich, deep green candle is made with the highest quality food-grade paraffin wax for a clean and even burn. We source only the finest ingredients for a true-to-life, long lasting fragrance experience.
Pioneered by Village Candle, our dual wick technology is a unique design that ensures a cleaner, more efficient burn, as well as a superior fragrance experience. Before reaching your home our lead-free cotton wicks are hand-trimmed by our team.
Our candles have a long and consistent burn time of up to 170 hours (depending on the size of candle). Burn your candle for a minimum of 2 hours and no more than 4 hours, or until you reach a full wax pool. Dimensions are 3.8”L 3.8”W 6.75”H.

Wonderful!
Why have I never known about how great Village Candles are!!! I ordered the Balsam Fir and it’s fantastic! The clean burning and the scent throw is better than other brands I’ve tried. I love it made in Maine. I’ll definitely order more in the future.

Nice but the jar is better
The same great scent as the jar but the scent does not flow as well as the jar. I think the shape of thos container keeps the scent inside vs flowing out into the room. Will definitely buy the jar next time.

Gorgeous scent brings the Northern USA winter woods inside
Our family loves this scented candle. We find that this large tumbler jar burns more evenly than the wide, squat jars. I wanted to send one to my son who is skiing in NSW, Australia for their winter season, but since it is Summer here in North America, I couldn’t find them in our grocery store, and even the Village Candle website did not have them in stock. :(Amazon to the rescue, haha! He received his candle in about 8 days (wicked fast, I must say!) His UK, Swiss, Australian and Japanese roommates are now new fans of the scent, and his Canadian roommates feel right at home. He didn’t know that this tree/scent is rare outside the northeast in North America.I think Village Candle generally makes a superior scented candle to the other popular one from New England. That company has gone downhill and uses too-small wicks in their jars, and much is wasted. Village Candle has, so far in the past 4 years since we’ve purchased them, been a much better value and their scents are far more “natural” and not cloying or fake.

I am never going back to any other brand of jar candles! I actually bought my first 2 Village Candles for Halloween this year. I had some cute glass “lampshades” (from another so-called similar candle company) that only work on traditional jar candles. I wanted to try a new scent, so I ordered this brand and I was blown away!! The fragrance is perfect- not overpowering but strong enough to leave a little behind for a day or two. I’ve tried 5 different scents now and all are delicious and not cheap smelling. But people, let me tell ya- THE BURN RATE!! The first night, I let those babies go for a solid 8+ hrs during a dinner party. Went to extinguish them expecting a solid few inches to be down, but not even close! These babies burn forever!!! The photos is of one of those first candles- regular burns for weeks and weeks and look how much is left! Still at least 25% left. Anyway- this Balsam scent is amazing, the perfect fresh tree smell, and it’ll last you the entire season. Just get one!

When I received them, they were in a good condition but there was a green liquid came out from the lids, it seems that it was the fir 🌲’s essence (smells like one) and when I opened the lids, they smell nice like fir. They reminded me of my Yankee Candle’s smell when I opened it the first time. I am yet to try to lid them up and smell them.

The scent smells like cheap pine air freshener. I burned the candle for 1.5hrs and everyone in the house commented they could barely smell it but when they got close it smelled cheap and weak. I could have spent the same amount of money on a gorgeous candle from Dusk that would have filled the room with a beautiful scent. Now I’m stuck with this expensive candle that people have actively asked me never to burn again.

Fantastic and authentic smelling candle. It truly does feel like Christmas in July at home now. It’s got 2 wicks but we burn only one and the smell permeates the whole lounge room. Will def be buying again!
