Best pencil there is!
I got my Pentel Quicker Clicker when I was in high school, and I’ve had it ever since. I just kept refilling the lead over the years, and it held up through everything—college, work, and now nursing school at 40 years old. The only reason I finally had to replace it is because the eraser completely wore out after decades of use. That’s how tough and reliable this pencil is.When I decided to reward myself with a new one, I was so happy to find out Pentel still makes the Quicker Clicker, and it’s the exact same pencil—not just the same style. It still writes smoothly, feels great in my hand, and works flawlessly.This isn’t just a pencil, it’s been a companion through different stages of my life, and I’m thrilled to keep using it. If you want something dependable, comfortable, and built to last, the Quicker Clicker is absolutely the one.

Best mechanical pencils you’ll find
These are the best mechanical pencils I’ve ever used. When my local office supply store quit carrying them, I tried some other pencils, only to be very disappointed. I eventually tracked these down online and bought them. I’m guessing that the reason the office supply store quit carrying them was because they didn’t sell many. That’s because these are the workhorses of pencils. They basically don’t break. I’ve got some I’ve had for years. I know they aren’t the latest shiny things, but everything about them is built for business.Advantages:1. The clear barrel makes it easy to see at a glance how much lead is left2. The metal eraser holder means the eraser stays firmly in place, and you can “cheat” by moving the eraser up, and clipping it back in, to use more of the eraser before replacing it.3. The metal parts are well made (this pencil is still made in Japan. That should tell you something about the quality.)4. Advancing the lead is easy and smooth.5. The soft rubber grip is comfortable and makes taking notes for long classes easy. I even draw with this pencil, because it’s so much more comfortable than an art pencil.6. I can clip to to the inside of a pocket in a bag, and the metal clip won’t slide or break.Cons:It’s not as “pretty” as other pencils, but since you’ll be using it for years, you probably wouldn’t want it to be in the latest trendy color any way.

Best mechanical pencil I’ve ever used
I hope Pentel never quits making this pencil, because if they do, I’m afraid I’ll have to retire from my job. I use a pencil all day every day and this is the best.Great things:Side advance lead clicker works flawlessly almost all of the timeEraser holder is metal and is firmly attached to barrel. Can erase hard without worrying about breaking the pencil.Eraser holder holds a large eraser. One eraser lasts a long time.Rubberized grip is good. An improvement over the larger rubber grip Pentel was using a while back.Things I’d like to see improved:I’ve broken more of these pencils than I can count – but that’s because I’ve been using them for over 20 years. The things that usually break are 1) the side advance quits working and 2) the 0.5mm ID metal sleeve at the very tip gets bent when I drop it.I’d like to see the metal sleeve beefed up a bit.These are minor complaints on a really great product.March 2019 and I still haven’t found a better pencil.The eraser that comes with the Quicker Clicker is not all that good. If you want to get the PERFECT mechanical pencil, you need to order some Staedtler Mars erasers. Nope, false package advertising.Came with one piece of lead in each. Had to track down lead immediately.

For my preferences, I care about comfort and convenience which this mechanical pencil provides. The loading mechanism being on the side is handy. The translucent barrel makes it easy to see when you’ll need to refill it. The grip isn’t too large so holding the pencil is pleasant. The overall weight is light but the pencil is sturdy.The eraser isn’t the best but if you’re writing a lot then you’d probably want to get a dedicated eraser rather than rely on the included one here.Overall, if you’re looking for a quality mechanical pencil, I would highly recommend this one.

excelente calidad, la nueva version de los quicker clicker tiene muy buenos detalles, colores y texturas. este lapicero cuenta con un clutch metalico de bronce los cual es muy bueno por el precio, tiene goma de borrar grande y incluyen 6 puntillas cada lapicero. son muy ergonomicos y en lo personal si me gusta el grip de goma.

Feels really great to write with and so far I am quite happy. The leads don’t break, despite them being 0.5, so I guess the leads that come with it are pretty good quality. I have a lot of mechanical pencils and this has one of the best hand feels in my opinion, but the side click is not that significant for me. Still neat to have.
