Great value for the money
I feel confident in using this *CO detector. We bought it in the event that we have to use our indoor propane heaters in winter if we lose power. It is well made. It does have a blue light on it that blinks to let you know it’s working. That I really like.

Do not use the batteries that came with the Detectors
I bought a 3 pack detectors and after 5 months 2 of the detectors malfunction making a non stop buzzing noise. The 3rd one might have also but is in a motor home that is in storage. The issue for me was the batteries were not long life batteries. I put in alkaline batteries and it seems to have solve the problem.

Waste of money
Had this for less than 5 months. One went off in our bedroom at 2:00 am. No reason and the only way to stop it was to pull the batteries. Took one from another room to get thru the night. Every time you put the battery back in, even outside, it blares. Don’t waste your money. Tried to find a way to contact the company, no luck. Complained to Amazon, no luck.

Faulty after 4 months, new batteries didn’t fix the issue.
Four months after installing they each went off with days from each other. I changed the batteries and the meter still read 8 ppm. I went down to my firehall and grabbed the 5 gas meter from the engine. I swept my home on all three levels after each detector went off and there were zero readings each time. With a battery change the detectors were still faulty. Will not purchase again. Sad thing is that I bought a total of 6 units and gave some to a coworker. Told her to discard them.
