Finally… I can sleep without sniffing the air like a paranoid detective.
This AEGISLINK Smoke and CO Detector set gave me instant peace of mind. No more middle-of-the-night “did I leave the oven on?” moments. Now I just sleep like a baby — a baby with excellent fire safety coverage.Setup was ridiculously easy — no wires, no confusion, no calling an electrician friend who’s “busy this weekend.” Just pop in the batteries, link them up, and boom — my house feels like NASA mission control (minus the stress).The digital display is clear, and having them all wirelessly interconnected makes me feel like my home is smarter than me. Will not easily mount to a round electrial box!
If you are hanging this detector on a flat wall or ceiling, installation will be a breeze. Don’t even think about attaching the mounting bracket to a standard ceiling box. The screw holes in the solid plastic bracket do not match up to any of the two standard hole spread dimensions found on every round electrical box in America! After redrilling new, correctly spaced holes in the bracket and trimming the plastic webbing to lower the head protrusion, I finally mounted it using low profile, flat head screws. The key is the mounting bracket, which is so poorly designed that I cannot imagine purchasing another unit like this to replace other detectors throughout my home, all of which are mounted to round electrical boxes!

Good Product, Incorrectly Written Pairing Instructions
The detectors appear to be well made. However, the instructions for pairing the detectors incorrectly state to push the pairing pin in the pairing pinhole and hold until unit beeps. The result is supposed to be the detector displaying a slowly flashing LED and waiting for a second detector in search mode to find it. In reality, the detector enters the search mode and displays a rapidly flashing LED. This makes it impossible for a second detector, also in search mode, to find the first detector.The solution is to press the pairing pin into the pairing pinhole four times in succession. This will cause the detector to beep, flash its LED slowly, and wait for the second detector to find it. The second detector can be placed into search mode push the pairing pin in the pairing pinhole and hold until unit beeps.

L’appareil fonctionne correctement, a détecté de la fumée lors d’un allumage de cheminée raté, et a directement déclenché. Le fait de recevoir des notifications à distance est un plus, même à l’extérieur on pourrait prévenir les pompiers directement en cas d’incendie
