Solid Safety Monitor
Cheap and effective. I needed a carbon monoxide alarm as it was an item that I had to complete before my sale of my condo. It came quickly, and the self test was really easy from the instructions. All I had to do was plug it in. I feel good knowing that the new owner will be safe. They can even bring it with them or move it to a different room very easily.

Great
The easiest installment I have ever had. It is a plug in so you don’t need to worry about batteries so all you have to do is unbox read the instructions and plug it up. It will do a loud beep at plug up then just like that you are good to go. Make sure you read and save the instructions for later so you know the different codes. If you fear that no one will hear the alarm don’t worry because it is very loud when it does the initial start up.

Plug in and go
Easy to set up. Read the instructions and started up exactly as it should. Using in the basement near furnace, dryer and hot water tank (nat. gas). As expected, no alerts. Basic plug in and go. Have never had a problem with carbon monoxide before and there’s no way to test if it’s working properly, so I am assuming it’s good.

Following the use instructions it’s hard to find a place to plug this in
COOKSS Plug In Carbon Monoxide Detector. Great! We thought, excellent, no batteries. Just plug it in. Well, yes, but if you read the instructions and follow them, you may be hard pressed to find a good place to plug it in. It’s supposed to be so far from a heat register. OK. But there are only so many outlets to choose from and a small room has no outlet far enough from a vent. We thought the master bedroom might work but the lights on this thing are so bright we couldn’t sleep with it in the room. Weirdly, the instructions mentioned plugging it in on the ceiling – who has outlets up there? The alarm is loud, no batteries to replace, obnoxiously bright red & green lights on it … I just hope the location we finally chose is not too close to registers to prevent it working properly.
