Good value
Good value. Loud noise that will def get your attention. Medium quality, not that sturdy but I think they work and it’s not like they’re going to be thrown down the stairs.

These are OK, but obviously you get what you pay for.
They are as described. They turn on as expected and test properly. They are a bit flimsy though, and I had trouble installing them because the mounting ring was a little warped and did not accept the unit without having to work with it a little bit. It did work, but is kind of cheaply made…and also sold for cheap.

takes double AA not triple AAA batteries
Be mindful that they take double AA batteries not triple AAA. The photo said AAA, they still touch, but AA fits. But it still works! Cheap and easy.

Nice units at a great price.
Very happy with these detectors. One thing is the light that blinks now and then is very bright so it can be distracting if mounted in the bedroom, I put mine in the hall just outside the bedroom. Very happy with this purchase.

Not For Bedrooms
I assume this would do the job of monitoring for carbon monoxide, however, I bought this to go in my bedroom and there is a green light (to indicate the device is working properly) that is very bright and blinks every 30 seconds or so. It was waking me up. I am admittedly a light sleeper. However, I had to move it out of my bedroom. If you were wanting this for any other room, I think it would be just fine.

Do you ever wake up in the middle of the night with the battery alert?
We had a 10 year product and it finally died. But it died in a scream of agony and of course these only come in the middle of the night. The beep sound makes my dogs nuts. They bark. We get nuts. Obviously it was time for new ones. I was surprised at the price and the size. They are small. We are very pleased with this purchase and look forward to not being waking up by an alarm announcing their deaths for many years to come.
