Malfunctions
One detector has started to malfunction after using it for 2 months.Edited to change from 2 stars to 5 stars. Due to the malfunctioning detector, the company reached out and refunded me. Great customer service!

Great addition to home safety and security
Provides another level of safety and security for our home. The LEDs are bright and the setup was quick and easy. The size allows me to put the detector in an unobtrusive spot in our home. Batttery life lives up to advert.

Works as far as I can twll
Works well. I haven’t died of carbon monoxide poisoning yet so I think that’s a sign it is doing its job. It does make noise when you first plug it in and that alone spooked my dog, but it was loud enough to hear around the house (medium sized home) and I think it would be effective if it went off for a real emergency.I love that I can move it to where I need to as well.

This product is easy to use. A quick plug into the wall and you are ready to go. the display is easy to read and easy to understand. Appears to be good quality. Nice that it has a dual purpose. It displays gas and carbon monoxide. House feels safer with this installed.

Convenient
Very easy to install. I have this in my kitchen outlet. It is a little bigger, but i wanted a detector in my kitchen and this is perfect. I wish i purchased the three pack to use in other areas of the house. I also have a peace of mind knowing i have this on my mail floor. My only complaint is i wish it said how much sq foot it covered.

NONFUNCTIONAL DO NOT BUY WILL NOT DETECT METHANE NATURAL GAS
DO NOT PURCHASE!! THIS ALARM DOES NOT DETECT METHANE. Instead of buying this useless piece of plastic I should have just purchased the more expensive but better known Kidde brand alarms. In the basement of my two story home I have a natural gas hot water tank. My water tank failed and was replaced. However during the installation of the new hot water tank, the person installing it failed to properly secure the gas line to the tank. Approximately 4 hours after that individual left my home, I could smell natural gas in the 2nd story of the home. Gas was filling up the basement, first and second floor. Unbelievably this NONFUNCTIONING detector was installed in the basement and failed to notify me at any point of the extreme leak. The device is trash. Amazon should not allow sellers to use their marketplace as a platform to profit from the sale of fake non functioning products. I was horrified to find that this alarm didn’t work and am thankful that I was awake and smelled the gas leak. Thank god there wasnt a carbon monoxide leak, as my family and I would be dead and unable to warn fellow customers to buy a different product. I find it equally shocking that so many people have bought this device and they won’t really know if it works or not until it’s possibly too late.
