Amazing blanket
I use this blanket everyday to sleep and can’t imagine sleeping without it now! It is perfectly warm under especially with the weighted-ness and I sleep like a baby with it. Be prepared to be shocked at how heavy it is since I definitely did not expect it at first but this was also my first ever weighted blanket so that added to the shock factor. My only “gripe” with it is that it supposedly shouldn’t be machine washed but that is understandable considering how heavy it is and is just me being lazy. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and family!

The weight is amazing and perfect for my level of comfort. The only issue is that it doesn’t cover more of the sides of the mattress. Usually when you think queen you think of something able to be tucked in. So I recommend buy a size up

Pay close attention
I was really excited to receive my weighted blanket. After several days of researching and choosing the perfect color, it finally arrived. However, I had family in town, so I waited until the next day to open the box.I brought the blanket upstairs right before bed, unzipped the casing it came in, and dashed into bed. After just a few minutes, I felt something like crumbs in my bed and immediately blamed my daughter. Lol. A few moments later, I realized the “crumbs” were actually tiny beads. I looked around to see if the beads were scattered only in my bed or elsewhere. With my flashlight, I noticed a glaring patch on the floor littered with even more beads.It was 1 AM when I discovered this, so I got on the floor and laid out the blanket to find the source of the problem. After about a 30-minute search, I couldn’t find a distinct hole, but I did spot several areas within the blanket that were sparse in fabric (almost see-through), as well as numerous broken seams and pockets that were completely empty. I had also thought the blanket felt light when I took it out of the box, but my excitement kept me from investigating why it was so light.I’ve only owned one other weighted blanket in the past, and I’ve had that one for almost 10 years. While I still have it, my kids and husband use it, so I wanted my own. The fabric of this new blanket is soft, but after shining a light on it for about an hour, I realized the lightweight fabric is an indication of especially thin material, which isn’t necessarily a good thing.Ultimately, I decided to return the blanket, and the return process was very easy. I just wish it could have worked out!

I love the dual sided colors. I bought the pastel pink with the blue on alternate sides. Good quality. No complaints. Just that I should’ve gotten a larger size!My brother asked if he could sleep with it when he stayed over for the holidays. He said he slept ‘like a ‘king’ when he napped with it the day prior. I was hesitant to let him borrow it for one night since it’s my favorite.I also have ADD so after a long, overwhelming day at work, I come home and climb under this and it is EVERYTHING! Feels like a big, heavy hug for hyper monkey brain and body. Sometimes, I feel that it makes me stay in bed longer/nap longer but I think that’s my nervous system saying something to me as well.I can also say it’s not overly warm or too cooling.Definitely worth the investment!

Size issues
Blanket is nice with weight distribution nicely.Major issue I should’ve paid more attention to is the size. I did read the dimensions before purchasing, but didn’t realize what would work best on a weighted blanket.Husband is only 5’5160 pounds.60 x 72 doesn’t work well for width or length Feet will stick out if he pulls blanket up over his shoulders and sides don’t seal down as well as they should to hold in heat and to give the cozy feel.I would have returned if I’d realized quickly and gotten the larger size.

Very affordable weighted blanket for kids
I purchased this blanket off a recommendation to help my son sleep better.I like the weight of this blanket. It’s not too heavy for my 8-yr-old. It’s comfortable, I like the feel of the glass beads in their little squares, and the fabric is study yet feels nice on the skin.I have washed it a few times and it holds up very well to washing. It is NOT a cooling blanket, in fact, my son has to have it over his other cooling blanket. It does hold heat, so take that into consideration.Overall, a fantastic value for this little blanket. And it has helped my son sleep better, so money well spent!
