Quality item and it works!
OK, this is one day in and I have to say, it works! My 20 pound cat eats so fast he has even thrown up right back into his own bowl. This bowl makes him slow down so that he’s able to eat his entire meal at one sitting. The pole is a good weight, easy to clean, all the things that others have said are true. I will write a review later after the bowl is older and has been used more to tell you how it stands up to time.

Wonderful Slow Feeder Dish
I purchased two of these dishes, one for each of our cats, although they like to eat out of each other’s dishes lately! One of cats inhales the dry food, then he would vomit fairly soon. I purchased these especially because the were elevated and a slow feeder dish, and the description said they particularly created them to stop vomiting. It seems to work, so far! It slows him down eating, plus the elevation allows the food to pass down his throat easier. He hasn’t vomited food since we started using them, about a week ago. I think he thinks there isn’t enough food in the dish if the white ” fish” shapes show, but he is getting used to it. A couple of days he kept leading us to the bowl and meowing, but that is improving. They are well made, sturdy and so far the cats haven’t knocked them over. I don’t think they would unless they were playing rough nearby and bumped it over. They are easily washed out as well. I think they are a good value for the price. I would definitely recommend them.

Better in person, Super CUTE! This high ceramic, slow feeder Bowl is a perfection addition to my Grandbaby MAPLE’s Bowls. The Lil Fishes really did it for me, to see how she licks the food right off them, too cute. Love the quality, weight, height is a plus and design (fishies too Cuuuuute) of this bowl adorable. Super easy to clean!

A Game Changer
Not only does this help my cat with not hunching over as much when eating, it also ensures he isn’t taking entire gulps worth of food in one bite which has pretty much stopped him from throwing up due to eating too much too quickly. The bowl is extremely sturdy and lets me be confident when cleaning any residue food leftovers. There is no rubber bottom to it which I feel could be a nice touch but at the same time, also doesn’t take away from the use of it. I was also happy to see it came as one piece which meant I didn’t have to worry about assembling it wrong.

Came sooner that expected love how well it was packaged it has really made a difference my boy tuxedo inhales his food since I got another cat and this has slowed him down a little now they both finish close to the same time and I’m so glad!!!!! Solid ceramic with cute little fish sticking up. O ordered it for my kitten who eats too fast and fish prevent him from eating too fast . He also was getting the food stuck up his nose from burying his face in his food-this prevents that too.Dish is good height for easy digestion. My kitten loves the bowl by my 4yr old girl does not. Only reason its not a 5star.Every cat is different so I advise to give it a go!
