Great combination SMOKE/CO detector.
Like the 10 year battery. It was easy to install and a voice recording announces if it is a fire or presence of carbon monoxide. Very loud alarm too.

Voice activated is great That way you know which alert is being activated.
List detector will only work for 10 years after the 10 year period. The machine shuts itself off and cannot be used.

Great replacement for previous generation KIDDE detectors but order the plug adaptor!
My old Kidde detectors expired at 11 years from date of mfg, literally to the exact month. One started beeping, then the next the very next day. I replaced all 5 of our units which were installed at the same time 11 years ago. So far, these appear to work but thankfully no fires or smoke to test them in real world scenarios. They fit the old brackets too, so that was easy. Now the one reason they lost a star is that the wiring connector changed from the original ones 10 years ago, even though they are the same brand. Thankfully, they make an adaptor, sold separately. Even though those cost about $5 each, they make it super quick and easy to replace these without cutting and splicing wires on a ladder. To me, it was worth it.

Great price!
Easy to install and works perfectly! Also great price! Who knew fire alarms were so expensive! This was much cheaper than Lowe’s. Turned it on and worked perfectly! I love that the battery life is 10 years. It’s very loud also so if it gmdoea go off well definitely be aware! Won’t have to worry about this one for a while!

Great alarm but not standard mount holes
Not sure what the makers of this were thinking when they designed the wall plate. Why would you make up your own standard of where to put the mounting holes vs use a standard so that those with boxes in the wall could easily mount it to the box without issue. The hole is ‘close’ but not quite.Otherwise it’s easy to get put into service and will hopefully last the full 10 years without issue.

They work for both fire and Co2 and call whichever is going on out for you to hear!
These are the best! Battery lasts 10yrs and they call out fire and carbon monoxide! Used them in another house and loved them!

I give zero stars: bricks itself in a week, lolz ahead
If I could give negative stars, I would. This detector bricked itself in one week. Read for the lolz. You would think that all products capable of making noise would have an off feature, or a way to remove the battery, right? Nope! This worked fine like every other smoke detector, right up until I used a normal leaf blower to clean my garage. Odd, but fair enough, lots of DUST, so, ok, yeah? This thing, interpreted that as a fire. Went to go hit button to silence and reset. Yeah, no. “Fire detected” unable to turn off. Ok. First and last time I have ever had to read a manual for a fire detector.Press test button to silence: fire detected, cannot be silenced. If so, interrupt the “fire detected” to interrupt and it WILL (not may silence). Nope.Remove battery, discharge for 45 seconds. It’s a sealed 10 year battery. California law now. Nope. Says to take to a well ventilated space, it will reset in 15 minutes. Nope. “You may need to wait 24 hours” … With it chirping at 105dB, yeah, nope. Called company number. Waited 20 minutes, yeah, nope. Put duct tape over alarm while I waited, sound still coming out of other hole. Duct taped that, dropped into bag, put in box. Still hear it. Nope.10 year battery, I ain’t waiting for it to discharge. Threw it in pool. That shut it up….Until it dried. And now has a continuous ring. Smashed, put back in package, returned it. Stopped chirping.Moral of the story: if you are going to make a product with a sealed battery, you need to make sure there is an alternative to smashing it to shut it up.$80 for two detectors, 5000 purchased on Amazon every week! Wasted by a dusty garage (no fire). Dont buy this junk that can be bricked by dust, and unable to be silenced. Buy anything else. Just make sure it has a mute button that works, or better yet, a reset button.Sent back for a refund from amazon. Cuz eff this company.
