Perfect for getting the tiny bits out — especially if your cat has diarrhea!
My cat has chronic diarrhea, so there are always lots of small “bits” that break off in the litter that regular scoops can’t catch because the holes are too big. I use Tidy Cats clumping litter, and this stainless steel mesh scoop has been a total game changer for keeping the box cleaner and the litter fresher for longer.I scoop everything normally with a standard litter scoop first, then go back through with this mesh one — it picks up all the leftover tiny pieces perfectly. It does take a little more shaking to sift the clean litter through, but it’s worth it to get all the small stuff out.The scoop arrived a little squished from shipping (like some other reviewers mentioned), but it molded right back into shape with my hands — super easy. I think a lot of the low reviews are misleading because the metal is flexible by design. It’s lightweight yet durable and works exactly like the photos, and does the job better than any scoop I’ve tried! It’s very comfortable in my hand and my only regret is not getting it sooner!

Great to keep litter box cleaner!
10/10 scooper! I needed a scooper with small enough holes to capture the little pieces of cat pee that crumbles when I scoop and this does just that! The holes are small enough for that but big enough to let litter fall through. It takes maybe a fraction of a second longer to scoop but leaves me litter box cleaner which makes my litter last longer.

Picks up the small bits
Finally a scooper that gets the small bits. All other scoops are flimsy plastic but this is a durable metal that actually can scrape up the urine stick to the side and catches all the tiny clumps that get left behind making the litter smell.

Great Product & Great Value
I bought the 3.8mm, and it’s So Perfect for use in my kitten’s litterbox. I use Fresh Step (fresh scent) & Arm & Hammer Super Scoop (Fragrance Free) mixed together, & this scooper works great at letting the litter fall through with minimal shaking, yet catches 99.8% of the waster product(s). My only ‘complaint’ is that I feel that the handle is too short. I wish the handle was 2-3 inches longer for good hygiene purposes. I do recommend this scooper, but be aware that your hand will be in the litterbox too.

Great scoop – Every cat parent should try it
Where have you been all my cat mama life?Even so I have a litter robot, I also put up a regular litter box, as one of my kitties is very skittish, and started pooping outside the litter robot. This problem was solved with the addition of an “old fashioned” litter box. However, it was always very frustrating to get this litter box clean with regular scoops. If the cat’s business was somewhat small, it just slid through the cracks, right back into the litter box, I use clumping litter, and if smaller pieces fell off the clumped waste, it too just fell through the cracks of the scoop, and the litter box never looked adequately cleaned.Not so with this “miracle scoop.” It holds the smallest waste for disposal into the waste bin, and makes cleaning the litter box a piece of cake in no time.My cats need now have always an actually clean litter box and my frustration when cleaning it is gone. I will never use another scoop again, and highly recommend to all kitty parents who still use non self cleaning litter boxes. It makes life with cats so much easier.

Not exactly as described
I like that the holes are small. I got it to clean out the small bits after scooping with one with bigger holes. However I thought it would be a lot bigger, and the product page says it has a long handle but I wouldn’t call it long.

Does what it’s supposed to do exceptionally well. The sturdy handle allows for efficient scooping. The mesh design works great in sifting the litter and it’s easy to clean.

i can’t recommend as a cat litter box scoop, based on my experience
it would be nice if this item scoop were sent to a customer in a sturdy box, not a paper bag, because the scoop isnt strong metal, its light weight steel frame, with a finer meshy metal thats the scoop material; my scoop was delivered flattened, but i attempted to straighten it out and use, because i was really excited, based on other customers reviews. i was disappointed, this scoop isn’t very effective, maybe if a cat owner used just very fine-grain litter? i use an unscented, clumping clay cat litter, it doesnt go through the scoop, the wet clay sticks and i have to to clean the scoop, overall, i wouldn’t recommend unless you use a small granule litter?

It’s a good spatula but the holes are very tinny for cat littler takes the small silica gel that absorbe the urine.So in my case doesn’t work, if you gonna need for cats buy the one with the holes bigger.The reason of my 2 stars rate it’s because in the description the vendor mentioned it is for cat litter
