Nice mixing bowl
Nice steel mixing bowl, very sturdy and meets my needs. Perfect size for mixing a loaf of no knead bread.

Perfect for a BIG job and fits in my cabinet.
This big bowl is perfectly sized and provides plenty of room to thoroughly mix all ingredients (the photo is of a batch of dog food). The non-slip base keeps the bowl on the counter. The big bowl fits in my cabinet with my other steel bowls nested inside perfectly. I’m using my 14” high temp cooking spoon also purchased on Amazon. These two quality tools helped me get my task done quickly and efficiently!

Nice sized set
Nice and useable sizes. Not too big or small. Big size big enough and smallest for little dry rubs.

Terrific bowl — buying more because I love them
I bought 3 of this bowl as well as the 4 of the 8-quart model. I am coming back now to buy more of this size because I’m finding myself using it all the time. My favorite feature of the bowl is that it’s really easy to throw in the dishwasher. Because of the way the rim is made, there’s no water that collects anywhere on the bowl. (Rust is not an issue.) They’re simple to store — same-size bowls nest into one another easily and each one adds less than 1/4″ in height to the stack.I have a family of 5 so I thought I’d use the 8-qt bowls a lot more. However, this size bowl is constantly in use and the larger ones are rarely used. You can mix 2 boxes of cake mix in this size with room to spare. I am also going to get a few of the 1.25 quart bowls for when I’m making smaller batches of foods, but I think this size will be my default choice most of the time. The ONLY issue I had with this bowl: It was difficult to get it truly clean before I used it the first time. I ran it through the dishwasher and it had a whitish film on it. I hand-washed and scrubbed it and discovered a graying residue (metal “stuff,” I’m guessing) on the washcloth. So before you mix in it, take extra precautions to make sure it’s completely clean. You’ll need to use elbow grease to accomplish this because the dishwasher just isn’t enough. The whitish film re-appeared the first 3 times it went through the dishwasher — thankfully there was no more gray residue — but a quick rub with a towel cleaned it off. Since then it’s washed perfectly every time. If this were a more expensive Oxo product I would have docked a star, but because it didn’t last long and because the product was so inexpensive and perfect in every other way, I decided all 5 stars were deserved.

Title: “My Kitchen’s Knight in Shining Armor: The Large Metal Mixing Bowl Review”Let me tell you about my latest kitchen conquest – a large metal mixing bowl that has become the unsung hero of my culinary adventures. This isn’t just any bowl; it’s like the Excalibur of kitchenware. If King Arthur made cakes, this would be his go-to.First off, its size is something to marvel at. You could mix enough cake batter in this bowl to feed a small army or, more realistically, have enough dough for a week’s worth of stress-baking (we’ve all been there). It’s like the clown car of mixing bowls; you keep adding ingredients, and it never overflows. Magic? I think so.Then there’s the material – metal, shiny and valiant. This bowl isn’t just a kitchen tool; it’s a mirror to your soul (and your slightly messy kitchen). It’s so reflective, I sometimes use it to check my hair while I cook. Multitasking, am I right?Durability? This bowl laughs in the face of its plastic and glass cousins. Drop it, and it might dent the floor but never itself. It’s survived more tumbles than an Olympic gymnast, and still looks as dapper as on day one.And talk about versatility! This bowl is like the Swiss Army knife of kitchenware. Mixing? Obviously. Impromptu drum for your kitchen band? Absolutely. Giant popcorn holder for movie nights? You bet. It’s also great for proving that I can, in fact, lift weights (it’s heavy when full, okay?).Cleanup is a breeze. It practically cleans itself, though I wouldn’t recommend testing that theory unless you want to get to know your kitchen sponge a lot better.

While I am very pleased with these bowls, good size of 1.5 quarts, nice and light weight and great price! However, one star deducted for the awful gummy labels they stick on the bottom..VERY difficult to remove, too much horrible adhesive! After a few rounds in the dishwasher, STILL the gummy garbage remains!
